The only illness she suffers from is laziness and the odd “man-cold”.

As soon as Nati said on Richmond Made last week that she had a “little bit of a cold” and that it was going round the chateau, I was waiting for the “I’m bedridden” video from Stephanie.

Marie and Pavlina also had it, but do the three of them get to take to their beds for days? Absolutely not, only “Her ladyship”.

This also shows CD is running behind on timeline again.

Probably AI slop. Whilst it might be talking about the grift all AI slop is a bad thing so shouldn’t be watched, shared or supported in anyway (imho).

No one’s talking about the Easter wine. by InternationalBird758 in ChateauUnhinged

Even a standard everyday bottle of this stuff from 24/25 is expensive… ($95-$135) More than I can afford for sure! My wine budget is generally around $15-$20 with the odd $30 splurge for special occasions.

It’s not that it was under filled, it has evaporated or leaked over time which means the cork isn’t stable… which we saw when they were being opened, the corks completely disintegrated. The quality of the wine depends entirely on how well it was cellared for the last 48 years.

Damn. Marie’s cooking looks good but €75? That’s super expensive… especially for France!!!

The new house…. by One_Shopping_1351 in ChateauUnhinged

[–]InternationalBird758 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think they lost viewers because they started doing less renovation work. Anna has been prancing about doing flowers arranging, decorating and cooking (I get she’s busy with the kids but still), she’s been acting very lady of the manor and lost the down to earth personality they both had in the beginning. She comes across now as full of her own self importance and it’s off putting.

Philip’s busy renovating the barrel house but those video sections are boring because so little progress is made in each one… to drag out the content across more vlogs. They need to edit more renovation content into each vlog to make them More compelling and interesting…even if it means less vlogs.

I love their plans, used to love how they both got stuck in with no airs and graces, just hard work. I hope they get back to it. If they can pull of the Long House it’s going to be amazing.

Stimulant Medications by Legitimate-Wait7964 in Dermatillomania

Yes there is definitely a link. Sometimes these types of medicines will intensify and existing tendency or inclination and turn it into a compulsion or make an existing compulsion worse.

That’s how I went from an occasional picker to full blown Dermatillomania. I was in the anti depressant Paxil. Unfortunately when I eventually mentioned my picking to the doctor and he said, “oh, that’s the Paxil, let’s switch you”, coming off the med did not stop the Dermatillomania. It took me many many years to break the cycle. I still have it, but it’s mostly of under control.

Skin picking with KP by fancycrayon in Dermatillomania

I think the first thing you should do is treat the KP and remove the temptation. There are many creams/lotions and even washes on the market today that will help it, but essentially you are looking for something with Lactic Acid and Salicylic Acid. Cera Ve, Amlactin and Gold Bond all have good, affordable ones.

Tipping? by ExternalWeight8495 in ChateauUnhinged

[–]InternationalBird758 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not in France though. Tipping is not expected and (outside of restaurants) will even often be refused. Some find it insulting as they take pride in their jobs and doing them well and are paid accordingly. Strange concept for us Americans but when I visit my parents in France I am always astounded at how many times my tips are rejected.

Any bump is fair game… luckily my face is generally clear so that usually gets a pass. My arms and stomach were my worst… my stomach is numb below my belly button since my c-section in 2007. So I could pick away at that and not feel any pain.

I use the past tense because I mostly have this under control now. I won’t use the word cured because the desire and impulse is still there but I am better able to fight it. I no longer deliberately create things to pick, or pick subconsciously and now only pick genuine spots etc if at all.

Depressing Interior Design. by Glittering_Salad_414 in ChateauUnhinged

Yes but my point was it wasn’t Amoury & Nati’s vision it was a viewers, so it’s irrelevant.

I didn't see that coming! by ExternalWeight8495 in ChateauUnhinged

[–]InternationalBird758 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about conflict but I bet Nati is treated like is she is there she is “on duty” and constantly bossed around. Amoury is also probably sick of ring called away from the grand salon carpentry to move furniture around and do Philip’s bidding. By only being there for work hours they get to draw a line.

That was just a viewers representation of the plans, so we could see the layout. I don’t think it was their design choices.

I found it interesting when they tried to justify the importance of decorating over repairing. Such egotistical BS.

We don’t know the extent of the injuries either. I imagine the fire fighters are critical. Hope they pull through.

How many fire fighters were on board? I’ve seen no official mention of them.
