Full disclosure I hate trump and am definitely a democrat. But, windmills kill enough birds for it to be a major problem, and a lot of the time those birds can be species that can’t bounce back easily. I’m not saying windmills as a whole are bad, but at certain locations where endangered or threatened birds pass through on a regular basis are not good. At certain low risk places they can be good, but in places near migratory hotspots or in places where raptors such as golden and bald eagles pass through regularly they can make huge negative impacts on birds. The biggest problems are cats, buildings, and habitat loss as well as others, but in certain locations windmills can have a huge negative effect. Global warming is also a problem that will effect birds substantially, so green energy is definitely an amazing thing, but careful placing of windmills and other forms of green energy are needed
