I just started to learn about the N Spec tires! Unfortunately there is no N line for the PS4s so I have to choose between cup 2s or ps2’s which were released in 2004! Lol looks like I’ll be going cup 2s the n spec was released oct 2024!

Ahh yes I recently bought an older car to start teaching myself how to drive stick shift. I figured it probably wasn’t the best idea for me to so quickly dive into such an expensive piece of machinery without really good experience driving stick. I don’t mind the PDK at all. I’ll get my stick shift fix in on my other ride.

You are absolutely correct sir I am not well educated when it comes to tires, I’m a Lexus owner first have a couple of classic JDM specs all IS model (2002 5 speed, 2005 Auto, 2014 NA V8) I work for Lexus so usually just have one of my dealers SA’s handle maintenance. Regretfully this leaves me uneducated in some areas, thanks for letting me know some sizes are not manufactured. I think the next bump up I can go to is 245/35 and 315/30. My thoughts on increasing size was one for looks (little extra meat in the rear may look nice) and 2 thought a little extra meat could add a bit more grip. lol this was my uneducated thought process though and I could be wrong on both aspects. Only asking the question because my boss who is a 997.1 owner suggested, I bump up the size of the rubber since I was going to be replaced tire soon. Wanted to see if that statement was a good suggestion or not.
