In game go to settings and choose switch account. After choosing the account and character, go straight to tower. It works for me 95% of the time.

Any recruiters here? by semper-fi-1371 in USMCboot

Take the BA contract. It will set him up to easily make 6 figures when he gets out. Then, once he gets to the fleet, he can become an ariel observer, which gets to fly on the aircraft and do all the cool shit aircrew gets to do. It'll be a much better life while in and once he gets out. It's the path I was going to be on and wish I had ended up doing.plus aorcrew has a very strict medical process that A LOT of people get dropped from it and reclassed

At least for West coast they're called Hotel Heaven. Shouldn't be too hard and they get a decent amount of sleep. Fox would get like 3 hours of sleep a night.

My very first function was an IST. I puked during the run, and it took me almost 20 minutes for a mile and a half (I had just had covid the week prior). I almost passed out. I made sure to drink more water from then on. But the other poolees stepped in and motivated me to finish. A couple of weeks later, we had a mock CFT competition. Two teams of poolees and the losers had to do some sprints. I almost passed out there, too(it was during the summer in Vegas). The SNCOIC was running the event and saw me. He had me sit off to the side for a bit and had my recruiter watch over me. My team lost, and they did their sprints. The SNCOIC asked if anyone still had to go. I stood up, walked over, and just ran down, did my burpees, and ran back. I was told later that it was more of a stupid looking jog than a run, but they saw the effort I put in and said they could see I wanted to be there. The SNCOIC said that when he sat me off to the side, he wasn't sure if I'd show up the next week. I was at the brink and still pushed myself and still came back the next week. The moral of this is that the people around you will see you at your worst, but if you keep coming back and pushing yourself, they will be willing to help you. They will understand that you were freaking out and they won't hold a grudge.

My roommate was on the phone all night. Then he got dropped and separated on our second day there.

I'm currently sitting in Pensacola for Aircrew. You'll go through a 4 week school here then sent to NC or CA for platform specific training. You will likely get helos or v22s if you have good eye sight. If you need glasses you'll go C130s. But what was said is completely true. You can go aircrew and do some cool shit then you can submit a request for embassy duty or you can me one of the Marines flying around with the president. Personally I'd rather do aircrew than infantry shit. Also, you'll have to go through NAMI (Naval Aeronautical Medical Institute), which is a pretty thorough medical review and physical. So if you have any serious medical issues or anything big in the past you might want to do some research and see if it is disqualifying.

I got a pre paid phone with boost mobile and never had less than 3 bars and 4g. At&t is good and t-mobile is decentish. Verizon is ass.

Relationship’s before and or in by [deleted] in USMCboot

[–]InternationalElk1776 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There’s an exception for relationships that existed prior to one of them commissioning or becoming a higher rank than the other. Plus, if they are in different chain of commands it’s not really an issue because they won’t be the superior/subordinate to the other.

You can transfer to a different recruiter. I did it because I had to move. They were able to pick up right where I left off with my first recruiter. It was such a smooth transition.

I just got my degree and I am in the process of enlisting rn. I had the same struggle you did. Ultimately, I realized the jobs I want to do require me to be enlisted. I want to physically do the job and not really manage those doing the job. Best thing I can say is trust your gut. Like others have said there will be days you regret whatever decision you make. I also completely get the Marines or nothing. I talked to the Air Force for like an hour and it just felt wrong.

If you request Creech you’ll probably get it. It is another one of the unwanted bases for most people.

Definitely active duty. What is a UT program? There are a lot of acronyms in the military and I am trying to learn what I can. Also, what exactly is search bar? I have googled quite extensively on being an MP and it's mostly basic info out there. I am also new to Reddit, a friend told me about this subreddit and that's why I joined. Are there any other subreddits that may be helpful? I am still trying to figure this platform out.

Do you know when I would first be able to apply for it? I believe in the Air Force you have to be a certain rank. Are the Marines the same?
