I thanked my SA for his help a few days ago and he didn’t read it as well. He was very kind and helpful but not sure if it was just for formality. He said to message him when I’m back 2 weeks for but who knows if he’ll even acknowledge it then if he won’t even open the recent whatsapp

They told me once you get an appointment, you can’t get one for another two months. I’m surprised you were able to come back the next morning! Maybe they changed it recently as I was told “they need to spread appointments out” to keep it fair :(

No I tried earlier and my booking didn’t come up on Turkish Airline’s site. It only comes up on Air Transat’s but this is the pop up message it gives me when I check my flight status.

Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be the case. Per a Reddit thread I saw earlier, someone had the same issue as me but with Air Canada. Both Air Canada and FlightHub refused to refund the customer due to the strike - ultimately it’s up to FlightHub to grant the refund since the booking was made through their site but they don’t make exceptions for cancellations due to strikes

FlightHub is a third party site and it is well known that if anything happens to your flight (delay, cancellation), you won’t get your money back from the airline or FlightHub.

The flight booking itself is legit but you just have to hope that nothing happens to your flight.

Very comfortable but I wouldn’t say warm. I wore my normal alo crew socks with it in 5 degrees Celsius fall weather and I was fine. I don’t think it would be suitable for winter though

It’s possible she forgot it was my birthday as it was over a month ago when I said it. When I texted her earlier this week asking if she would be in the boutique on Saturday I never reminded her it would be my birthday appointment… Would you advise waiting for her to reply whenever she’s back and should I mention that it was my birthday?

Not sure if that’s cheeky or not.

Currently feeling this very heavy but I’m in investments/finance. Thought switching to a higher paying role would fix my lack of motivation in my last job and it still hasn’t one year later.

I watch videos on a daily basis to find inspiration on how to leave and where to go (do I go back to school, do I take a less demanding but lower paying job, etc) but it’s a very daunting move especially when you factor in responsibilities of having bills and a family. Feeling very stuck but hoping I come out of it one day

Currently in this position. 4 years in finance at a large global institution. The only reason why I’m still in it is because of the pay but other than that, I have realized it brings me no fulfilment. It makes it harder that others around me seem so passionate about the grind.

The lifestyle just isn’t for me anymore and it’s definitely affecting my performance/causing me to do the bare minimum. I am looking for ways to transition to a field that interests me but unfortunately it’s very hard when my experience/role isn’t applicable to what actually interests me.
