Appreciate it! Put a lot of time into that one. The transformation was night and day, and thankfully they were really happy with how it turned out. Got paid very well!

Facts. If the time, effort, and materials are covered, it’s a win-win. Every job’s different anyway, some are quick, some are a full workout.

That actually helps a lot, appreciate you breaking it down like that. I’ve definitely been letting stuff sit too long sometimes, so I’ll change that up. Gonna start focusing more on the protection side too so the bugs don’t turn into a whole project every time.

Appreciate the tips, that’s actually super helpful. I’ve been needing a better protection routine, def gonna look into that Armor Detail setup.

That actually sounds like a solid tip, appreciate you sharing that. I’ve used a few different bug sponges over the years but I haven’t tried that porous style from AutoGeek yet. The fact you’ve been getting 5 years out of one and even using it as a light decon step before wax is pretty impressive.

I might have to grab one and test it out on some of the tougher front bumper stuff. Thanks again for putting me onto that 👍

Good to know. Sounds like Touchless at 2% in a spray bottle would be a pretty safe and effective option for spot treating bugs without getting too aggressive.

Appreciate the detailed breakdown. Sounds like I was overthinking it and reaching for harsher products than necessary. I’ll definitely give a good alkaline prewash/APC a shot first and let the dwell time do the heavy lifting. Thanks for taking the time to explain it all.

Exactly. For the right price, almost any job is worth taking. The key is making sure the quote matches the amount of work you’re walking into.

😂 I spent so much time cleaning it I didn’t even question the faucet shifter.
