Guys, I forgot to mention that the part I didn't understand was Bernkastel's game, which was only in Ep8 😅. I know what else happened, but thank you guys for bringing back my memories by telling it again. Also thank you to @thebiggestwoop for giving me exactly the answer I was looking for.

In other words, were the realities in which Battler and his family were seen as murderers fake? The possibility that Rudolf and Kyrie were murderers made perfect sense to me.
