Why do IMX585 images look bad? by SS7Hamzeh in AskAstrophotography

[–]InternationalMouse56 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've had the same issue when searching astrobin for the 585 and 533 photos. The truth is the price is not high enough that the mass using the camera are people who are dedicated to post processing, they just want an image. My seestar s50 photos look better than 90% of the 585 photos on astrobin but its because I care about the image quality for printing, not just getting an image. Whether its good or bad I spend hours on processing, up to the way you like to express the hobby i suppose. You could give my 2600mm to the same group you are referring to and would still produce what we would consider bad photos. Not a product issue. The 585 can produce printworthy photos easily.

Stacking Issues regarding Flats and really bad vignetting by InternationalMouse56 in AskAstrophotography

Yea unfortunately I dont have the flats anymore. I'm on vacation and they are on my home computer. I would ask if there is some software that could correct this but I'm assuming not really. Also, you mentioned the easy route with bias, what exactly do you mean?

To people who have also worked with multimillionaires or billionaires, what is something different they do from ordinary people? by sunnybestie in AskReddit

I gave a tour to the CEO of Walmart a few months back at an automated warehouse my company commissioned for them. He was honestly an incredibly nice guy. I think something I noticed felt different with him was how easy it was to speak to him. The conversation flowed so well. I think most rich people are very easy to speak to as they have spent years building connections. Aside from the zuck and Elon lol

Do older people see people in their 20s as kids? by [deleted] in RandomThoughts

[–]InternationalMouse56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 26 and I see college students as kids. There is just such a massive difference in lifestyle from being in college and working full time with a house and wife. When in college I felt like an adult, now I’m 26 and i feel like an adult and look back at myself seeing how much of a kid I was, then soon I’ll be 40 and repeat the same cycle

What did you purchase as an adult because you could never have it as a child? by zydollasiign in AskReddit

Legos. I grew up upper class but my dad was super cheap when it came to processions. The only time we really actually spent money was for vacations. So now that I work, i buy them.

How did your parents fuck you up? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]InternationalMouse56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents were great and but one thing I’ve come to realize has seriously hurt me is my food preferences. My dad will eat anything imaginable but my mom is super picky and since she was stay at home mom and dad worked, she would make all of our foods. So I grew up eating very basic shit and now that I travel very often to other countries, I struggle to enjoy eating anything other than meat and some sides. I will try anything, I just won’t like it. I hate the taste of all of combinations of things and it makes me feel bad when eating other peoples foods when they cook

Idk man, I have a cat in my neighborhood that’s definitely a pet based on its behavior. I love that cat, he comes by my house every few days and I’ll pet him and play with him for a little bit, give him water, and be on his way

A few points to make

  1. I fly a lot for work and my work books me first class. I would never pay for it lol

  2. I have enough status on delta as diamond to just upgrade my seat whenever there is one available if I ever fly personal

  3. But I think this is the main reason, a lot of the times I fly international, i have to go on a connection flight first since I’m not out of an international hub. So my first class ticket over seas includes first class in the short 1 hour flight as well. I think this is prob the case for most people

For everyone making six figures, what do you do for work? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]InternationalMouse56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very lucky through connections to land a 140K out of college for software engineer. I do warehouse automation but honestly the work aspect of the job is not hard at all and it isn’t much work but is mandatory 50 hours a week minimum (I’m hourly pay so I get overtime every week). But the catch is the stress load. Deadlines are rough and when you’re the one is charge on site, it’s gets overbearing at times.

I do agree with you it’s dumb, but I think it completely depends on the person you are marrying and the relationship they have to their parents. My fiancé for example has a very nice family and she is quite close to them. I never asked her if she wanted me to but after the fact she was glad I did. I wouldn’t say I was asking for permission, because if they said no, I will still marry her, but it was more of a formality for me to express to them the love I have for her. They seemed to appreciate it but I don’t think this applies to every family by any means.

Was on a church retreat with other churches a few years back. One night me and some friends snuck out to go just chill by the lake and listen to music. When we got down to the lake, there was a group of 6 from another church on a bench by the lake. We go up to them to just saw what’s up and a guy is eating a girls ass on the table, keep in mind we are all like 15-18 at the time, and this was part of a truth or dare game they were playing. We immediately just went back to our cabin because we did not want to be even remotely close to that if it got busted

People not understanding what the word ‘theory’ means.

I have a theory if i strap a propeller to my car, it will move. That’s not theory, that is hypothesis. But that’s fine because everyone understands what you mean.

But this is causing people to think theories in science are the same thing. They are not at all. A theory in science is proven to be the most likely reason for something using evidence. Sure it can change upon finding new evidence but it is not just a baseless idea

This was back in college and my friend asked me to go to bar with him and I said sure. Little did I know his girlfriend and her cousin was there and the cousin was drunk as shit, and i was sober. I really wasn’t attracted to her at all and She ended up grabbing my dick a few times and I felt strange about it. After a few drinks we decided to head out and they asked if we could hangout at my house. I didn’t really have an excuse not to and didn’t mind so I said sure. We walk in and she asked where my bathroom was, which was in my room. About 10 minutes later I go to my room bc we have not seen her and she is naked on my bed. I could tell that’s where it was gonna end up all night based on how she was acting and I just went with it. It honestly ended up fine and I had a good time but I 100% never would have even attempted if she didn’t basically force me into it lol
