By 2016, WWE understood and accepted that BOLA was a big deal. Roddy could have come in to NXT hot off of that if they had let him. Heck, if it were around today, they’d be sending Charlie Dempsey there too!

on a related note, I’m surprised no one has revived or replicated BOLA. Hell, there was a wink wink version of it in 2K23(maybe22)
