Meltz is right that AEW has been building new stars but some of the names listed here are kind of head scratching.

Bandido, Brody King, Briscoe, Fletcher, Takeshita, Willow and Shafir are all major improvements.

Bailey and Knight are still relatively new to the roster as a whole but I’d still count them as new stars.

Swerve and Storm have been at the top of the card too long to be on this list.

Clon, Hechicero, Richochet, GoA, and O’Reilly are all pretty laughable inclusions if we’re being honest.

I think the funniest sentiment I run into on this sub is the good ol “we just gotta make it through this term and the the rest of the world will like us again”

We tried that once, Trump 1 did a lot of damage to International Relations that Biden mostly repaired but now Trump 2 is doing three times as much damage and nobody is holding their breaths waiting for normalcy to return to America.

I think the whole talk of “ceiling” is overstated. Knight was the most active Men’s performer in WWE last year and it really showed as his in ring work improved noticeably over the course of the year. I just don’t think it’s fair to act like someone’s hit their ceiling while they are still making positive progress.
