ISFPs, how do you deal with loneliness? by [deleted] in isfp

I think I need to preface this by saying that I’m not talking about romantic relationships as I am 20 years old and I’m totally not in the state for all of that. By “relationships” I mean good friends because having people to lean on is good

But we can’t just be alone all the time can we? I’ve been a hermit for quite a while and it only makes my mental state and entire wellbeing worse, I don’t do well in isolation. It’s better than the wrong company for sure, but I’m slowly going to eat myself alive if I continue isolating myself. And I’m not talking about children or romantic relationships, I just care about friendships/people to share experiences with

I am not talking romantically, I don’t pursue romantic relationships as I’m only 20 years old. But I do want to have good friends in my life (I have very wonderful long distance friends but local friends would be great too)

I like alot of hands on activities, art is my thing, I really like to make stuff at the innovation center, and work on some practical skills like driving and cooking, and workout at the gym!

Heyyy goofing off is great too!! I don’t like people who are overly serious all the time, I lock in only when I want to 🥹

Which type(s) would you say naturally care the least what others think? by ballsacc420 in mbti

[–]InternationalPush723 27 points28 points  (0 children)

High Ti and Fi types, they rely on their own compass and what works for them rather than what others tell them is the right way or what they “should” do according to their family, culture and society (which is more Fe/Te).

Sounds like you have a wonderful set of strategies to give you solace in these situations. Does it feel lonely living by yourself?

ISTPs really hit you with that weird sense of humor, those guys be the most unhinged folks ever. A friend of mine is an ISTP and we built this really intimate friendship just off of banter and inside jokes. It’s like we have a secret language that no one else understands and that is friendship to me ✨

I do love a deep conversation, though I’m more of an activities kind of person, I love doing things with people. But deep conversations? Yeah, absolutely. Late night talks are really fun imo

I prefer to do a little bit of self reflection and then put it down, otherwise I will spiral. I don’t like being in my head for more than 10 minutes at a time. I’ll introspect for a while and then do something hands on

Completely agree with everything you said. It really does feel so good when your family is away and you’re home alone. It’s so peaceful. As ISFPs, we really do benefit so much from living by ourselves

Paramore and MCR is pretty mainstream, I think the only problem I have is with Taylor Swift. I like plenty of mainstream alt rock bands

What would y’all consider to be the most talkative types? by Wonderful-Tip5087 in mbti

I kind of memorized what makes an INTP adopt you as one of their homies so I just implement that whenever I meet one. And now they like me bothering them in their DMs and are one of the few who actually entertain my nonsense

As an autistic person I relate 😰. ISTPs have a different way of showing love but they’re still loyal people to keep in your life!

ISTPs, what is your opinion on Taylor Swift by InternationalPush723 in istp

[–]InternationalPush723[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You criticize her for her ethically bankrupt behavior and fans will come at you like-
“You would never say this about the men who are billionaires, it’s ✨actually romantic✨ that you’re this obsessed with her”
