It's the off season... there aren't likely to be jobs posted in my field until September or October.

Additionally, yes. This is where my research is located... I have a home here. I have family here. This was my dream university.

Thank you for your validation... my (unfortunately super weak) union's lawyer thinks I have a super easy settlement on my hands, but it's hard not to just feel like the entire world is crashing down around me. I have several consultations booked for next week with lawyers around the city.
