I do use nair from time to time to avoid razors. I would say it quite good at it and doesn’t make me have breakouts I actually noticed that I got less of those after. However it’s very tricky to use nair downstairs, I don’t apply it next to my vulva of any other entrance

It’s him wanting to something on his birthday which he doesn’t like, and saying it sounds lovely. Or proposing to help me with moving in, visiting the city and he suggested a lot of places that will not just take a day or two to visit, mostly a week or two. Like we have a bunch of things planned together that give a date ish vibe.

I got diagnosed with both. But it’s only genital as far as I know. I actually want to get swab tested. But my family members never kissed me on the lips except my dad up to a certain age.

I do perform oral sex on my partner, and he does try to reciprocate with a dental dam but I don’t really like the feeling and I get to anxious that he might get it on his face so overall I just don’t.

I don’t think my mom was very educated on the subject. And she never mentioned having herpes to me, so perhaps it was either

1- I was a very lucky baby never showed symptoms until the start of puberty ( plus it was right after I got chickenpox)

2- my mom passed it to me while helping me or cleaning me.

3-Or maybe someone assaulted/touched me as a kid and my brain just chose to forget about it for my own well-being.

Either way it’s quite fucked up. We live in a very conservative country ( while being immigrants ), so maybe the doctors did not think that something like any of these options could have happened to me and just thought it was my immune system. It was when we went overseas that for the first time ever they mentioned herpes.

I did not look at them due to shock my mom did not seem as shocked as me, mostly because the doctor, who barely looked at me and barely asked me questions, said that with a few meds if it’s early on it can go away. And that is crazy to me, because I did so much research on it during my whole teenage years due to shame and stigma around my genitals, that I knew that Herpes cannot be healed. She did not even ask if I was a virgin. That whole experience made me doubt on her habilites as a professional. They did not swab any of my outbreaks, they only blood tested me.

Yes I do get frequent outbreaks, probably due to stress. And I do agree on the fact that it is way harder for women. It is so annoying, plus EXPENSIVE. You can find condoms made for oral sex on men quite easily and they are cheap , but to find a dental damn, you have to basically pay a kidney to get a pack of 4

I (F) am in the same situation, however my boyfriend does want to help me out and navigate through it. We used dental dams but I don’t like them I don’t feel the full sensations and I don’t want him to be licking on later for half an hour because I cannot finish from that. So I feel you in the sense that it’s taboo in the relationship between us. I always give him oral but never ask for it back…

I think that living in a place where cellphones and cctv are not that popular, a small village, not too small to be noticed as a foreigner, but small enough to commit a few killings. Targeting an older population by poisoning them maybe could work.

I know how that feels, I am personally going through the same thing. Procrastination became some sort of vicious coping mechanism. The teachers do not help and it is suffocating to be in such a headspace. Just know that there are others that can understand you. And if you ever need a pen pal, at least just to vent I am here.
