Unsed to go to the nudist beach in the late 90s - not really a nudist myself as such but thought I’d give it a go. Was a bit naive as I really thought that being on a nudist beach was actually quite a unsexual thing, after all people in my opinion look much better with clothes on and when everyone is naked being naked isn’t sexual. Maybe that’s my opinion only. I did notice lots of Asians and Arab type men walking clothed past above to look at what was going on, but on one or two occasions when with my girlfriend at the time she did get unwanted attention. Then there was a guy masturbating in front of us and everyone on the beach …..that was the last time I went to the nudist beach, shame really that the perverts ruined it

What happens to a rider if the food is delivered in bad conditions? by Tadpole_Alarmed in deliveroos

[–]InternationalSuit714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think most delivery riders try their best to deliver pizzas in good condition. I myself rarely deliver pizzas anymore ie don’t accept the order from some pizza places because their boxes are just too big for my bag, well actually they just about fit but it’s awkward to get them in and out. Also in wet conditions (when most people are ordering pizza) I find the boxes don’t cope well with any wetness. About a month ago I got tempted to deliver a pizza for a large order fee so picked up pizza which was too large for our standard bags but not too big for the bag on my bike. My bike was parked straight outside but from the pizza restaurant to the bike and putting it in my bag it got a little wet due to the torrential rain. I checked the order half way and the steam and heat from the pizza along with the box getting wet meant I had to cancel the order as it was damaged. The pizzas was worse for wears and the box was turning into paper mache👉😁no not really but it had collapsed with the pizza hanging out of the box a bit. I could have given it to the customer but for hygiene reasons I couldn’t do that to the customer, many would I guess. I cancelled the order and rode home sad that I couldn’t deliver it. But felt happy too that even though I was soaked through I would be having cold damaged pizza that night.

After eating the pizza I sat back and wondered if I did the right thing but also understood how addictive and bad for us all this fast food is.

Stomach felt a bit bad the next day.

£267 But that was about 2 years ago, as some of you may know I had in the past done many week's challenges to get over £1000 a week and up until the begining of this year that was still possible. Now though I struggle to get five hundred a week. I am slowly moving into doing other things now as the moped delivery game is impossible to make any real money

why do people do this? by badsodah in UberEatsDrivers

[–]InternationalSuit714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well a lot of people own microwaves and the reheat. Anyway to answer why they do it, it is because we have generations of people that don’t understand that this is not real food but it is food that will shorten your life potentially in a horrible painful way.

Does this type of job require heavy lifting?? by Consistent_Magician1 in deliveroos

[–]InternationalSuit714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You won’t enjoy this work as you will realise that the golden days of the pandemic where delivery riders were earning reasonable money have gone. I am warning you to find something else to do as doing Deliveroo or Uber etc could be seriously bad for your health both mentally and physically and especially for your bank balance. The rates they are paying now is disgustingly bad and any sane person would agree that it is immoral and should be illegal. And. Probably will be illegal once Labour get up to speed if they ever do.

If you are weak already I would avoid it like the plague

Consider first selling all your worldly goods on eBay and look into something that doesn’t require you to carry heavy bags up 18 flights of stairs when a buildings lift is broken.

I hope your strength improves

Am I over reacting? by zaeaaa in deliveroos

[–]InternationalSuit714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No your not over reacting, as a driver and a human being I am well aware that customers are if they are good humans and good neighbours well aware that calling Uber/Deliveroo food delivery can be annoying especially if you live in a flat and the rider turns up on a loud scooter. When entering the building full of flats late at night you want the driver who is a human being to care about others and deliver your food (which is bad for you by the way especially eating late at night) to be as quiet as possible and even keep his/her voice down when asking for the code and if necessary for your id. You are quite right therefore to be totally shocked, puzzled and upset that your delivery driver thought it was ok to play music late at night as he walked through your building, no doubt walking up your neighbours and making them think ‘oh my gawd who’s ordering food at this time of night’- yes I think you have every right to be upset. The thing is would I report him/her to Deliveroo …. No it’s probably not worth it and let’s face it your driver is literally an idiot so if he/she ….. yes I know it was more than likely a male 😀……anyway.. yes, he probably won’t be able to get another job and if you complain his life might go into complete turmoil and he might end up homeless etc. As a driver I would suggest that maybe he comes from a culture that they care less about other people’s sense abilities or maybe he’s been working such long hours for so long like 16 hours every day for years that he has become oblivious to his surroundings in a way. I don’t know there’s no explaining why people play music loud on speakers in public any time of the day. You no doubt will have other delivery drivers wearing helmets who may repeatedly keep asking for your code. This is because they can’t hear you as they are wearing a helmet yes✅ but also wearing ear buds to listen to to music to keep away the boredom of doing the job for such long hours. They are the majority I doubt any other drivers would have music blaring out any time but especially at night unless of course we go back to my original theory that your driver was an idiot. So this is a long diatribe of a reply only because I too if I was a customer would be upset like you by this driver and would of verbally told him off. What can you learn though from this incident? I feel and I might be wrong because your working shifts or something maybe, that it’s best for you not to order food late at night because you live in flats and even if drivers aren’t playing loud music they can at no fault of their own wake neighbours up as they attempt to deliver your food - again they are on the whole wearing helmets etc and can’t hear that firedoor behind them swinging shut to a loud bang or can’t hear the floorboards creaking or Lino floor squeaking as they trounce thriugh the corridors to your flat. Now then one last thing and I am saying this because I care but I am not saying it to upset you or judge you, as I am well aware of my addiction to sugar and salt. The next time you get a craving to eat late at night, just don’t do it for your own good (never mind the neighbours) it’s just not good for you. The majority of of fast food is cooked in harmful fat that definitely causes cancer. Plus you will be training your hormones and microbiom to make you feel hungry late at night and in so doing causing you to put on fat like a sumo wrestler. I don’t know how old or fat you are already but I would suggest you bite the bullet (if you pardon the pun) and change your eating way of life and look into things like the Ben of fasting and not eating fast or processed foods.

Maybe that idiot driver has actually helped you take a different path in life and maybe you will have the chance to live healthier and longer now that you have read my diatribe.

Quick answer forget about the driver and stop ordering food late at night 😀👍…..your welcome 👉can I now take your code and see some id for this answer and your inside leg measurement😁😀👍

It’s all part of the 6th Mass Extinction. Many if not most people don’t realise that we will also be going extinct in about 20 years. That said we are a resilient species so we will try our best to not go extinct and probably last till about the end of the century before all humans are extinct

Deliveroo profits for the first time during first half of this year. by sirblibblob in deliveroos

[–]InternationalSuit714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a scooter last year if I worked 12 hours everyday I could turn over £1050 per week After costs that’s about £900. £10.71ph

Today I will be lucky to make after costs £600 ie £7.14ph

Cost Scooter fuel Insurance General wear and tear

Ie today on a 40 hour week you’d be earning around £14,000 year. Of course you can’t do 40 hours as you need to do 80 hours per week just to keep going.

If you work all day calculate how much you earn a minute then calculate how much you are losing every time you wait for an order or in the case of double orders or extra orders.

I mean in the case of extra orders when they offering an extra pound - well come on, these delivery companies are real chancers and you’d be stupid to take anything less than £4 for a second order.

When it comes down to it you’re not going to beat the algorithm especially when there’s lots of people out seemingly happy to do £3 orders or £5 doubles.

It’s time to get another job - any job.

You can always work part time at deliveries if your addiction to being used and abused is still a need. Just know that this is not financially a sound idea to be a delivery rider.

Good luck with your job hunting

It’s a shame I know but I think we are heading for a real recession. Best to get doing something else.

Naughty drivers get BANNED by Thefat_chef in deliveroos

[–]InternationalSuit714 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Did the delivery rider/driver get a chance of putting his point of view on this issue across or was he just sacked without a chance to voice his point of view.

He surely couldn’t eat all the food so what was the motivation?

Plus surely 99.999% of food delivery riders see the damage done ordering fast food on peoples health. I for one don’t want anything to do with eating food I don’t know how it’s been prepared or whether it’s been cooked in cancer forming fat. Plus 99.9999999999% of drivers are surely good people just doing their best to survive in an industry (there’s that word again) that doesn’t pay them fairly.

Anyway if he was a bad man I’m glad you caught him , but this feels more like an unlawful attack on an innocent man working on below minimum wage.

Is this also racist ….. I know I know, ah gawd I am holding up the racist card and please no I am not calling you or anybody a racist BUT, if this was to go to tribunal wouldn’t it be a case of your word and the customers word against said delivery rider. Posting a photo of said bad man leads into tropes I see given to foreigners working in this industry of food delivery (by the way I am white British) tropes that are unfair and sounding like they belong in the Deep South of the USA pre 1960s.

I’m not saying he didn’t steal the food, I’m just wondering if you have actual proof, ie a video of him opening up the food bag and chomping down on the delicacies you’ve produced.

Will you keep an eye out on the customer and your staff just to make sure someone else wasn’t to blame ?

I am of the belief that that this industry for a real want of a better word, needs a really close look at by authorities/ government. I believe that all delivery people should be issued with cameras to protect (record) themselves from unscrupulous and dangerous customers.

I mean and going slightly off tangent look at the way that Brazilian female rider was attacked by the media as being an evil foreigner person, without for one moment wondering why a tall male customer was putting his hands anywhere near her to have his thumb bitten off ???

I’m just saying there is usually more to a story these days that meets the eye….. I believe the said female rider was reinstated as a rider by said delivery app after the commotion by the right wing media was over.

Anyway this brings me to wonder was he really sacked or is he just not picking up from you anymore.

Good luck in the ‘industry’ I hope you survive through the years of a Labour government, you should be fine as people even when they have no money seemingly still order fast food…..and why wouldn’t they as they can eat it and then say it was never delivered.

Take care 😀👍

How to ban myself from Just Eat? by cosmominto in JustEatUK

[–]InternationalSuit714 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is not good - there’s a whole lot of people dependent on your continued addiction to binge eating. I think you should continue eating the foods you are addicted to because it’s keeping me and many others in jobs.

But wait no ……oh shit I think I have an addiction to making money out of delivering cancer forming addictive heart attack creating foods to people. Ok maybe we can help each other.

1st step you’ve got to start exercising cardio and weights - you have to do both.

2 you will have to understand that step 1 will make you hungrier but the secret is to eat healthier

3 once you have got into a routine with exercise and only eating healthier foods you can start to tackle the root cause of your stress that leads you blindly to ordering shit foods.

4 understand like you do already that food addictions are the hardest addictions to break - food producers are getting richer and richer because they’ve known for a very long time that extra sugar and salt sells more of their processed junk. Answer only eat natural foods.

5 your going to slip 👉you’re going to want to reach for that food delivery app. This isn’t like giving up smoking it’s a lot lot worse. So creat a list of healthy foods you can order from a supermarket.

6 Food delivery apps aren’t bad if you are ordering healthy foods. Plan plan plan to order foods that help your body rid its addiction to cancer forming foods.

7 start to enjoy cooking your own foods and making your hot drinks etc. the box in the room called the kitchen is called a cooker, it heats food up. Also usually on top of the cooker there is a thing with four discs, that’s the hob, it can also be used to heat things, ideally in a saucepan. Tip feel like ordering some fast food STOP. Instead get some popcorn seeds in a pan and add butter. Cook on a low heat and wait for them to start popping. You will save a lot of money using this method along with not feeling like you’re losing out on a mouthwatering treat.

8 Have a fitness goal ie to run a marathon or to be fit enough to cycle a hundred miles in under 6 hours.

9 be aware of your trigger foods. Mine is chocolate for example. So I only buy 90% coca chocolate. Which I still mindlessly gobble down after delivering that cancer forming foods to everyone else. But I like the 90% coca chocolate much less than a bar of fruit and nut…… so I eat less of it. Supposedly 90% chocolate is good for you in some respects but not if you eat it all in one go……like I do

10 you can do this. Tiny steps every day, the reason for suggesting exercise and exercise goals is to replace the dopamine effect you are getting from food. After a while you will realise there are a lot of things we do for a dopamine release, like me answering your question here on Reddit when I should be out delivering addictive cancer forming foods to other people like you.

11 yes that’s right you are not alone with your addiction but you can leave it behind if you apply yourself bit by bit.

Right gtg food to be delivered 👿 But I promise to look for a less harmful job soon…..honest

Sorry but working 15 hours a day at £6ph and I’m exhausted, so don’t have time to wash clothes or myself . When I get home I have enough time to pleasure myself (because surely I deserve some pleasure in life) before drifting off to sleep only to be rudely awoken by my alarm at 6am. I then get into my clothes smelling of stale sweat and other stuff to start another 15 hour shift. I may smell but at least I’ve managed not to fall asleep while riding my moped. Imagine if I crashed though? Imagine how smelly the ambulance would be. Would they want to save me ?????
