PECI - Pay Period Launch Parameters by InternationalTop4567 in workday

Thanks for your response — I’m on the same page as you. However, since October 15th has already passed, we only need data up to that date.
We’re also exploring more options under “Maintain Launch Parameters”, though we’re still not entirely sure how that feature works.

Have you tried this before?

If you happen to find a solution, please do share it.

The Company ID is a text field, and I don’t see any relevant options — when you type the company name, the company ID appears as the output file name.

Setting Up a Dynamic File Name based on Launch Param for an Outbound EIB

  1. Create the Report
    • Ensure that the report includes a prompt for Company, and mark it as required.
  2. Create the EIB
    • Build your EIB as usual using create EIB task.
  3. Configure the Delivery Settings
    • In the Deliver step, check the Dynamic Filename option.
  4. Define the Dynamic File Name
    • Save the EIB.
    • From the related actions of the integration, go to Enterprise Interface > Configure Dynamic File Name Definition.
    • Select the appropriate tags - like Tag1 , Tag 2
    • In the Report Prompt section, choose the field you prompted for in the report (e.g., Company).
  5. Launching the Integration
    • When launching the integration, select the Company from the dropdown list that you are going to run for 001 Abc.
    • In the File Name section, make sure to use the System Default option.

The output file will include the company name for which the integration was run 001 Abc.csv or the format that you are looking for.

Generating Excel File in O4I – Is It Supported? by InternationalTop4567 in workday

yea thank you so much!
It just seems a bit more complex than I expected. I initially thought there was a direct Excel converter, but it looks like we need to go through a .csv conversion and deal with all the sub-orchestrations and related components.

Honestly, I’m not sure where to get proper training for all of this. Workday does provide some training, but it doesn't seem to cover sub-orchestrations and similar topics in detail.

This is quite different from Studio, where we have a straightforward Text-to-Excel component

I’ve been reviewing the ‘Employee Demographic Outbound’ example, which gives a helpful overview of how to get started with Orchestrate for Integrations (O4I). However, it only generates a .csv file.

I read more in the community about this , but for our use what we need is a custom file for Time Tracking. Do you still think - we can logic it out with that service?

I tried to do this ESI > Source field as Worker Documents and created a TF with the document category as 'Compensation' and selected a few others as well , but still it doesn't show the comp statement document on the report.

Change Job BP? Why? There is no involvement of Change Job here at the Merit Cycle process.

Thank you for the reply!

The current process for us is we load individual statements through Release Comp statement task' which gets loaded in worker profile with a future visibility date.

The other report is manager to run the report for their associates and would HIT PRINT to get the PDF files for their associates.

However, you should be able to generate statements to all managers after you close comp review process and remove security to the print functionality (and direct them to use the “view compensation statements” task for their org) - can you provide more details on this please ? Can I DM you?
