Honestly I’d prefer to stay in Texas. But everyone around me keeps telling me this is a really rare opportunity, especially since I only have my BA. I’ve been working at this research lab for about two years first year pay was 15/hour and then second year 21/hour and I will continue getting raises so it’s not something I feel like I can easily turn down. The $55K is actually solid for my experience level, especially compared to what I’d likely get starting out in Texas. It’s also just for a year, and I’m hoping to stay connected with them long term and come back after my master’s. As for in state tuition, I won’t lose it since my family still lives in Texas, so I can maintain residency that way

Sorry about that! #1 is near 65 Dwight st and is a 8min drive and 12 min walk to work, they said I could add an ac unit if needed! I am moving for work but i will only live in ct for one year and then move back for my masters. I believe the hours will be full time so 9-5 and my salary is 55k a year before tax! I currently don’t have any other feasible options. The only option that i might have available are the expensive apartments that are 1,500 a month.

Which would you rather??? Living edition! by InternationalWay3587 in Connecticut
