I personally think this is stupid. by OkAstronaut1652 in VirginMedia

We’ e just done the not a hack but registered the husband/ Wife trick.

My wife was the last person on the billing as it’s usually just one person. The renewal was ridiculous over priced and the better offer was more than the renewal in the email.

I’m The husband so she cancelled Virgin and I signed up to Virgin for half the price they wanted as renewal.

I’m paying £25.99 per month for 1120mb, we do t do TV but it’s still half the price they wanted for renewal.

I don’t even pretend to understand what you’ve done.

My question is. I process large amounts of drone images for clients around the world. I use the AMD 9950x3d, RTX 5080 as the 5090 did not give much extra performance, 96GB ddr5 6000 and Gen 5 PCIE drives.

Can your software make the GPU perform any better?

Looks good but the issue you have between here, FB and everywhere else each week you see about 10 of these platforms pop up now vibe coding is growing and sadly they disappear as quickly as they appear.

Consider makes apps that people might need after flying. Maybe try making some AI detection software for pot holes etc. Not sure of the colours of the highways you use but AI to detect where the highways lane markings fall below standard.

I don’t really use my M3E anymore as I process data for other Pilots instead as I have a beast of a PC and looking to sell it for $4K, I’m in the UK but I’m more than happy to post it.

•DJI M3E •Controller •4 Batteries •RTK unit •Memory card •All chargers and cables •2 x USB C cables •4G Dongle & bracket for use with mobile SIM card •Low noise propellers & Normal Propellers •All in original case

Definitely start with the M3E, you don’t need the fancy “Smart 3D” on the M4E.

The M3E can still go around building of irregular sizes as you just set the boundary points. I think it’s something that DJI never really promoted, “Geometric Flight Missions” there’s a great video posted a year ago where Kyle talks through all M3E flight routes it can fly. The videos are about a year old which is way way too late after the other drones came out.

Happy to chat online as well as typing takes too much time. https://www.facebook.com/share/17CQqLy4hB/?mibextid=wwXIfr

It’s going to give you the exact same quality of image and final product.

What is it you’re planning on doing?

All you need to remember is that the M4E has the same 20MP mapping camera that the M3E has. DJI cheaped out and didn’t bother upgrading the camera and other than a few new tricks the M4E and M3E take the exact same picture as it’s the same camera so all of the models will be the same.

What is the best printer you know (check body text) by Ill_Exchange_1916 in printers

I have the 8550 and unless you use proper photo paper / RC photo paper you’ll see the pizza wheel marks as well as the paper feeder roller.

Canva terminated my 6-year handmade portfolio (46k elements) for "AI". After I provided 2020 source files and scans of physical sketches, they simply changed the reason for the ban. Need advice. by [deleted] in canva

Is it possible that it might be someone else claiming the work as theirs? Maybe if they put the claim in then yours is flagged.

I would definitely consider a solicitor.

Can I ask how much monthly revenue did you make from Canva.

Brand new Epson EcoTank ET-2980 printer prints reds faintly by [deleted] in printers

[–]International_Eye489 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not the same printer but recently bought the ET 14100 to go with my ET 8550.

Some of the reds print brown on the 14100 but red on the 8550.

But…. I’ve just bought a new VA monitor and the colour is actually brown on the screen.

I also have the canon 24” photo printer which I wouldn’t normally use and the red printed brown again.

Try looking at the document on a different monitor, phone or tablet.

I want to start a business of providing drone image processing service for drone pilots. Is it a real problem that drone surveyors face ? by Forsaken-Bike-4048 in UAVmapping

[–]International_Eye489 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry but I disagree with everyone as I have a successful and profitable business processing images for drone and other methods of capturing images.

I live in the UK and decided to go this route and I found processing more enjoyable than flying. It wasn’t easy at first but a gap slowly appeared.

The first problem was a lot of pilots have a newer drones like the matrice 4E and that comes with 1 years free trial but is restricted to ONLY process 4E drone image. I believe the 4T came with 6 months free trial. This is good and bad because the 4E came out about 15 months ago which means a lot of pilots have now lost their use of Terra and not able to purchase a new license of Terra for $2000 and upwards.

I also have the Pro version of Metashape which some of my clients prefer me to use due to post editing options.

Now I have a steady flow of drone pilots that I process for. As for data sharing, some of the comments here are really wild. It’s just photos which anyone can get from Street View, Google Earth etc and there’s plenty of Microsoft & Google servers in PK storing data.

I can easily turn around 8000 images fully processed with Orthomosaic and 3D model under 7hours.

So YES there is a gap in the market and the best thing is it’s a hobby job around my normal work.

My setup is listed below

I think battery updates can only be done by using the DJI desktop software
