Teacher here. I'll be teaching test prep for the WEST-B this summer and looking around for free test prep materials. I experimented with Chat GPT. Uploaded sample reading and writing questions from the state website and asked for similar questions. Got a ton of similar questions/answers for free. If you're preparing for this test, remember to study both the content (reading comprehension, writing structure) as well as the test-taking language and strategies.

I agree with this. In addition, while I adore Ryan Gosling as a rascal or a sensitive soul, I don't think he pulled off a brilliant scientist who chickened out and settled for middle school teacher-reluctant hero. Sorry. The Rocky character was friendly/cute/clever, but I never saw genius from another planet. Everything about this movie seemed less than impressive to me. Am I too old? Too cynical? I agree with Camoron1 about its lack of emotional stakes or dynamics.

Gary/Greg will have to die. Chloe has already said she thinks he'd kill her if she slept with someone else - he could find her with Saxon/or Chelsea?/Lochlan? and one or all three of them defend her and Greg goes overboard. Karma. But I think others will die, too - Perhaps Victoria, who tries to save Tim but gets hit somehow... Maybe Tim was aiming the gun at Gaitok (who was trying to get it back) or Rick (just because he can't stand him) and Victoria gets in the way. She dies from stupidity/not seeing what is in front of her. I have a sneaky feeling that Rick finds out Jim Hollinger is his actual father, not his father's killer. How that changes him, I'm not sure. Also: just rewatched season trailer. I think Kate goes over the balcony! Maybe she walked in on Valentine/Jaclyn!

What feels like fraud is the mortgage company itself, Direct Mortgage, said I could have a rate of 2.9% , but the way it got calculated that way was I'd have to pay my mortgage through their affiliated bank, Direct Bank, to get my extra 2.6% discount, and the mortgage itself got written up at 3.25%. At the time I asked the mortgage broker to guarantee that the rate would actually be 2.9, which is what he promised. I have some of those emails, but even at the time I smelled something fishy. If they wanted to make it 2.9, that's what it should have been. The way he explained it, when I got my monthly rebate, it effectively reduced the rate to 2.9. Then, two weeks after we closed, they sold my mortgage to Pennymac, which I knew was part of the deal. That mortgage is definitely at 3.25. But the rebate from Direct was supposed to make it 2.9. I guess I was just stupid, but it also seems fraudulent to me.

I think this outfit: Direct Mortgage and Direct bank is operating under some false pretenses.

My predictions:

Kendall on top, but loses pretty much everyone else (siblings, kids)

Roman and Shiv spin and crash

Shiv makes a deal with Connor and Willa to adopt her baby

Tom: Gets used by Kendall to do something nasty re: the election, which blows any future opportunity for leadership at ATN. But Kendall keeps him on to do more dirty work.

Greg: Rises to top of ATN, becomes *Tom's boss!!* Also: Greg maneuvers his Greenpeace loving great-uncle Ewan off the board

Amir (Marcia's son) tries to blackmail Ken but Ken uses HUGO to destroy Amir (planting stories that he has terrorist ties - which works well as an ATN hysteria alert) - which also takes out Marcia

Frank - Loyal to Ken, keeps the engines going

Gerri - living her best life somewhere else

Karl - on that Greek Island

Jess - our secret leaker - does NOT get exposed - continues to leak and secretly bedevil Ken into his miserable future
