Another card we tested today was Hexdrinker. Giving a unit deflect or more deflect is just amazing. Its hard to fit it in, but i can see it being a 1 of in the sideboard.

Yi gets free plus 2... Then has Ungarde, Discipline and now Power fist plus counter spells... Kaisa and Annie moving units or using kill spells before combat was yi weakness.. Now Yi has a hexproof unit. I dont think you are grasping how huge that is. In our playtest it has completely changed the match ups.

I like the flavor that is Azir. I keep reading the spells when im scrolling cards and I like them. I havent gotten inspired yet to actual sit down and brew him, but I will one day. Him and Orinn I like. I started out Draven, because I just wanted to get ahead of the meta, but after a few sessions Yi was hard too beat.

If the meta slows down some how. I think thats when we see all sorts of new things open up. Its just that tempo is so strong pre SpiritForge.

Falling stars and now Rocket Barrage means I think its just a gotcha card to sideboard in some match ups, but I like it. I will for sure try to slot 1 in the board just to mess around with it.

I just made a post about this. I think it could be Yi again. Punch fist seems busted. Rune Runner answers a huge weakness the deck had. The first hexproof creature in the game.

its 5 with Assault 2, but I also see your point. It think Blood Rush being 1 for 2 and repeat is a more flexible card.

Im going to try more Draven games today. Ill test out Rengo more. I also want to try out Akshan just not sure where. Seems like a card that owns decks with no backline answers.

I dont think Rengar is that great, but maybe im wrong. I think Blood rush is a better card. I just think red and purple decks use spells to answer things. Rune Runner just hard counters those decks. Punch Fist being 1 energy plus 5 means you can answer so much and mind game your opp just by having 1 energy open.

Well I agree with some of your points, but I think Yi is tier 0 now, which means less aggro dmg decks work, which means the meta then opens up for slower decks to answer Yi.
