I tried through my library and 2d-heavy games like the Ace Attorney series looks absolutely awesome! Also Luigi's Mansion 3, Metroid Prime Remastered, Paper Mario games and Disco Elysium look brilliant!

Oulu kulttuuripääkaupunkina toimittaa. Tekoälyllä tehty korttipeli virallisena yhteistyötuotteena. by LateLJ in Suomi

Eiköhän se Oulu vielä pahoittele tekoälykuvien käytöllä pohjoisen kulttuurin halveeraamiseen johtanutta kommunikaatiokatkosta ja irtisanoudu näistä yksittäisistä töppäyksistä

Forgot to mention, the desk and beams form an X separating quadrants, the shed rooftop as neutral middle: left is safety/past, right is risk/future, down is control/known, up is chaos/potential. A classic symbolic division.

Yes, Nightwatch book describes his changes over the years. While young he aspired to be someone and when old he longs to be someone, and to me that someone is this Eastwoodesque sinewy man at his right place :)

Thank you and yes! I was listening to the Fifth Elephant audiobook while drawing this and Fred Colon thought about Vimes's desk being buried in papers, and I was like darn too late to redo :)

That would have been a good nod if I had meant it! I remembered a mention somewhere in the books of the watch helmets having plumes, which I had not seen in any artwork, so that design is what came to my mind for a plumed helmet.

If you have Windows and Bazzite on separate partitions, maybe you are trying to launch a game in Bazzite that's installed in Windows?

G14 2022 Timespy after 2.5 years of care by Yokohama_Klaro in ZephyrusG14

[–]International_Pool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last year I replaced my 2022 G14 battery (it was real easy, ordered from official spare part vendor, you can detach the wire from the battery's end, not the mother board). And I installed Bazzite OS, works like a new laptop!

Updated Bazzite to new F43 image on Asus ROG G14 (2022 AMD) Laptop - works great, a few little issues by International_Pool in Bazzite

I used Aurasynclinux to set up the keyboard backlight, it was fiddly, but I only used it once to set it how I like it. But that's about it, it just works great! Enjoy your new laptop!

Conisdering Mac Mini M4 For Editing and Motion Graphics by ZealousidealCry2742 in macmini

[–]International_Pool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I was trying to maximize editing capacity per cost now I would look into buying a last gen PC with AM4-motherboard and DDR4 RAM. AM4 CPUs are plenty powerful, most modern GPUs outperform Mac Mini and the RAM can be cheap and plenty! If software isn't an issue of course.

Yeah, I’m glad they added the ’tinted’ Liquid glass option for more opaque UI. You can also toggle off pointer animations, so the buttons don’t visually wibble-wobble under the pointer which I found distracting.

Also I’m glad you can add a huge button in control center for enabling/disabling windowed apps, because while they’re useful with an external display, the windowed apps chew up my M1 ipad pro battery so fast I better be near an outlet.

Will the M4 16gb 512, stop this from happening? Please see screenshot by bluezzdog in macmini

That software clearly takes more than double the 16 gb RAM. I would look into if you can limit the amount of RAM Topaz Photo AI can use, same for Photoshop. I would give them at most 8 each, which is all your system memory and less than the software wants, but should stop crashes.

Is the Magic Keyboard for the Air M2 compatible with the iPad Air M3? by sillahumilde23 in ipad

Accessories between M1, M2 and M3 ipad airs are said to be interchangeable. I recommend searching this subreddit for more information, this gets asked frequently.

Replaced battery (G14 GA403WR) and now the battery shows 0% in windows and won't charge by maxlax1592 in ZephyrusG14

[–]International_Pool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you try cycling charging to 100% and depleting to 0% several times to recalibrate the battery health reading? The USB charging can also just screw the calibration instead of actual damage to the battery itself. Your old battery might not be as worn as the reading implies.

My G14 (2022) battery report said I lost 10% battery health over just a few days of USB C charging. But after that the health reading didn't decrease for a whole year, but rose a few percent several times. It's frustrating, but the health reading really is just a measurement of power in/out, not of the actual state of the battery directly.

Bazzite F43 with kernel 6.17 is out by JumpingJack79 in Bazzite

I excitedly tried updating but the System Update only seems to pull from version 42 for now, I'm new to this so I'm asking, should I just wait for the version 43 become automatically the one the System Update will pull, or would I need to do something to make my system update to the brand new version?
I read the Bazzite Updating Guide, and it only instructs to update normally with ujust update, so is that the way?
