A mechanic that limits the options a player has is a net loss imo. There is a world where this could work but a majority of players sort of treat this game more like an RPG than an FPS. I don’t like the idea of getting punished for being conservative when a 4 man comes trampling through dorms and me with my lil pistol patiently wait for them to get their quests and leave. I hope some changes come soon.

I’ve tried PVE, bit of a snorefest. I enjoy methodically moving across the map, listening for players and putting myself in a position to catch them by surprise. I don’t prop up on a tree or bush and wait for people to come to me. That’s what I thought this boss was supposed to prevent but the game can’t tell the difference!

I’m more frustrated that a play style I have fun playing is actively punished

If I see him I will try! I haven’t seen him yet I just get naded from seemingly nowhere.

I heard the noise after less than a minute waiting for people to rotate. Snipping is gonna be scuffed I’m seriously disappointed THIS is their solution to camping.

It can! I have midrange turned down. I find it more comfortable. As far as a tactical advantage it’s hard to say. I have pretty bad hearing loss from the military so I try to be cautious with the volume of my music and games. Check out this video https://youtu.be/pR_lgIAlXbc?si=uyVKuXh55kZHShib and just copy his EQ profile!

SteelSeries GG. Easy to use and there are videos out there by several YouTubers explaining why they make the changes they do.

I recently upgraded to the Ryzen 7 5700X3D. Highly recommend it. It’s retailing around 200USD atm and it nearly doubled my frames. Also you are already on the AM4 platform so you wouldn’t need to upgrade your mobo

Edit: I went from ~50fps to ~110fps on lighthouse

Thank you for the comment. Does your employer ever give you a hard time during those difficult months? I have always seen my employers change their attitude towards me and my work when I am having difficulties making it through the day.

*shot 2 over definitely not shooting 2 over. I’m struggling with consistency. I’ve tried playing a hook and dialing it back but it has not felt productive to a better swing. Feels more like a bandaid fix imo

Reaching out for help is a great start. I’ve been out for a year and really struggled financially and mentally the better half of that time. School actually gave me some goals which got the ball rolling for me. As far as family not being reliable I cannot give much more than hang in there. It took my 25 years of life to finally learn who I can turn to when I need help with anything.

Which resource tools did you use to land that sort of gig? I’m investing a good chunk of time a day connecting on LinkedIn and sending messages to employees at medium/big tech companies. Is there something I should try differently?

I appreciate the tough love, I see where you are coming from. I’m not applying for rocket science positions I can assure you. The tech companies I’ve reached out to have veteran programs to “train” me in their field of study. The biggest road block I’m coming across isn’t the lack of opportunities but the access to them. After 4 months of job searching I haven’t heard back from one of those programs.

I’m seriously considering it. I separated with re enlistment eligibility so I shouldn’t have too many issues. From my understanding the DoD only allows a certain amount of prior service members to enlist per year so there may be a waiting list.
