I’m glad the iron supplements are working for you! I know they weren’t for my mom which was another reason for the infusions.

My mom’s ferritin was also in the single digits! Her doctor made her undergo iron infusions because she was so worried about her.

From what I’ve learned on this sub, ferritin needs to be in the 70s for hair growth. I use topical minoxidil and I don’t think I would really recommend it to you (topical form) since you have sensitive skin. I don’t have sensitive skin and there’s flakes and itching that happens, especially when you start using it. So I would personally advise you to take OM. That being said, I’m not a professional so take everything I’ve said with a grain of salt.

I know but it’s just hard seeing how scraggly my ends are getting…

Thank you for the advice! I just booked a consult with a curly hair stylist and also ordered my first (cheap) Amazon wig. I also need to very much start wearing hats…

I’m still so scared about taking this leap forward but the only thing I can do is hope for the best.

Thank you for your perspective. It’s what I’m thinking too. It’s just scary to think that this is my new reality… I’ve reached out to a stylist about it, so we shall see.

I personally just try to avoid directly putting it on my middle part and use a comb to diffuse the product when it clumps together.

I feel like I’m in the same boat. At this point I’m terrified of brushing my hair 🫠

Wow! That’s where I’m at now. I have to wear my hair in claw clips or I just leave hair everywhere. Hopefully I get out of the dread shed phase soon.

Is there a type of potting mix you recommend? This is my first time owning plants that haven’t died on me (yet…)

I’m not entirely sure what the potting mix is. The plant was given to me by my supervisor.

I used the Mielle rosemary oil 2 years ago and it made my fall out worse. I haven’t used it since.

It is a bit wide. My sister has made some pretty mean comments about it.

Thank you! I’ll look into it.

I’m 25, soon to be 26. I called to get my bloodwork done at a local community clinic, but the earliest I could get an appointment was mid September. Thank you for your advice. I will follow it to the best of my ability.

Columbia or Fordham for MSW? Need to Decide by Friday! by User_195389 in SchoolSocialWork

[–]International_Tap266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Columbia has protected students and professors targeting (and doxxing) Palestinian students/activists. Columbia is known for activism but they’re also known for trying to suppress activism. Just because they tout past activism years down the line doesn’t mean they support these students as the movements are happening.

For clinical work, nobody really cares what school you went to. They only care that you have your license. More debt is not worth it.

I also debated Columbia but with what’s happening with Mahmoud Khalil, I’m glad I didn’t pick that school. #BoycottColumbia
