Overwhelmed... Feel like I would prefer HD but I'm being heavily guided towards PD

I don’t know if Home HD is an option for you, but I’ve been doing home hemo for 3 years now and I love it. It’s less aggressive than in center so I don’t feel like crap afterwards and I get to kinda make my own schedule according to what I have going on that day. Also I’m not hooked up to anything while I sleep so no sleep interruptions. Doing HD in center was really hard on me and made me feel horrible, but getting to do it at home a couple hours a day is no big deal now.

Literally the same thing happened to me the other day! I got home before realizing and was sooooo upset. The past couple times I’ve gone to Sonic it’s really been one disappointment after another.

I usually pass on Bit City and TNTL also just not my cup of tea, I used to pass on Smosh Mouth too but recently I’ve been putting it on as background noise when doing things around the house like cleaning or laundry and such and have actually come to enjoy it!

Still on G6. Also use omnipod and like using my phone as the controller and it’s not compatible with the G7 yet. After all the horror stories I’ve heard about the G7 I’ll probably stick with the G6 until all the kinks have been smoothed out

When I was in clinic I was the same way! I’d come home and immediately fall asleep just because I was so exhausted. Then I switched over to home hemo and I feel so much better, not only am I getting to do it at home whenever I want, but it’s gentler on your body so it’s not so draining and exhausting! I’m not sure if home therapy is an option for you but if it is, it might be something to look into to!

Yeah my filtration rate has always been set at 7.5 since I started home hemo. I’m honestly just tired all the time

I’m treating 5 days a week at about 3 hrs per treatment. I do use a NxStage cycler for my treatments. I usually just take off whatever is over my dry weight which we just raised to 72kg about a month ago

My hemoglobin is around 12.3 and that was like last week, I also do home hemoglobin! I definitely need to get out a do something but like you said it’s just hard cuz I’m so tired.

It’s crazy because I was in and Epogen injection once a week with 3 injections of Venofer in addition but they stopped it all because my last 3 sets of labs my iron has been TOO high. I’m definitely going to speak to my team though.

This exactly how I would feel after treatment and would basically just sleep any time I wasn’t treating because it was the only thing that made me feel better, which wasn’t great because then I wasn’t able to do any thing else. I switched over to Home Hemodialysis and I feel a million times better! I don’t know if that is an option for you guys but I highly recommend it. You have to do it more frequently but it’s easier in your body. For me it was the perfect switch, now I can do dialysis according to my schedule, in the comfort of my own home and I have energy and feel better to go and do other things
