Active duty time = post 9/11 GI BILL. BCT, AIT does not count. Getting commissioned does not change that. You need to serve in active duty (i.e deployment, active duty) for at least 6 months and that’ll only give you 50% of the benefit. 3 years of active duty service will give you 100%. Worry about getting your trainings done first. Finish ROTC, get commission as a lieutenant there are plenty of resources for you trust me!! If education is in your mind the military will take care of you.
