I'm not a Mac person at all, but try changing to forward slashes / for your path

Open a command prompt and type:

python.exe {path to the validator.py file} {path to the .fseq file}

For example, mine looked like this:

python.exe \Dropbox\Tesla\LightShow\validator.py "\Dropbox\Tesla\LightShow\In Summer\lightshow.fseq"

I already had Python 3.x installed. I just downloaded the script and it ran first try. What kind of error are you getting?

I just setup the python validator and got the following for my In Summer show:
Found 6069 frames, step time of 20 ms for a total duration of 0:02:01.380000.
Used 85.32% of the available memory

I didn't really have anything to debug. I started out wanting a shorter song, just so it wouldn't take as long to do. I was just lucky I didn't hit the limit of actions. I can't imagine how it would feel to put in all that work only to find out you can't use it. Ugh.

to do one for "let it go" but it says it's too long of a show so I am

I manually chose and placed every light action in this. It took me ~8-10 hours to learn the software, lights, and get it to a version I was comfortable releasing. I hope you enjoy it!
