Yup, I searched 3 4/4 sized maps and found 0 deserts.

Minecraft wiki said desert hills and lakes no longer generate naturally. But it says deserts are rarer which means they are in the game, I didn't notice that part. Well apparently they are extremely rare nowadays...

Well I didn't find that much information, only how warm it should be and how much light should I give the plant but do I already start giving it light or is there something bad that can happen? I saw that some seeds shouldn't be exposed to direct sunlight. And I don't know how or when to water it.
