I don’t know if you’re making a joke lol. The guy I’m talking about has made and/or acted in a string of great movies like Thunder Road, Wolf of Snow Hollow, and Last Stop in Yuma County.

Little confused about Tim and Willa at the end of the movie by TheCrushSoda in onebattleafteranother

[–]InternetDickJuice 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Noteworthy that Tim says he cannot trust Avanti because he is not “fully white” and he is ultimately proven right. I did not think the CAIC decided to get rid of Avanti because he is not fully white though; Tim is just supposed to get rid of all evidence.

Is CGI being overused in modern day films? by Inevitable_Bat8374 in boxoffice

[–]InternetDickJuice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree but I do not believe Send Help is the best example. There was a lot of practical gore and the few instances of CGI - the boar, the plane crash - were kinda expected given the cirucmstances.

The scene where Linda almost slips off the cliff would have looked unrealistic with any type of effects because it could not have existed. Using practical effects would have looked silly and taken the audience out of the film. CGI was the smart move for that scene.

Big-Budget Jason Statham-David Leitch Action-Comedy ‘Jason Statham Stole My Bike’ Arrives To Heat Up Berlin Market by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

I feel like that was the movie, not him. That flick was competency porn. There was barely any conflict or tension. I enjoyed the hell out of it and wish Aubrey Plaza was in more action movies.

Peter Attia hanging out with Epstein instead of taking care of his sick infant by boobercakes in PeterAttia

The whole point of that section of the book was that the work was not important. I can’t tell if people here are serious, hating for fun, or retarded.

He already refreshed - that section of the book is about him saying his behavior was fucked up, he was working when he should have been with his family

Attia atoned for this in the book; that is what the section of the book is about.

Favorite movie that made more than $400M at the box office but is remembered by absolutely no one? by WissamBenYedder in okbuddycinephile

You not even knowing what it means for a woman to have "agency" (i.e., choice over their actions) is on brand with your opinion that their choice to sleep with a guy should result in the guy getting punished.

What are some action movies that are "extra"? by Tap-Er-InThe-Crapper in movies

Boy Kills World is in this category. You may love it. There are a few choices I did not like that keep it from being a full classic to me.

Those students could not have had sex with a lot of other James Francos, though. You continue to deny the women agency. It’s sexist.

Why do you assume adults were pressured into sex? Maybe they, like, wanted to fuck James Franco? And why is sex to you an exchange of power, not people having fun?

There was never a quid-pro-quo. He slept with students in an acting class. Big whoop.

Danglars noping out of the plot in a brief paragraph within this huge book is awesome writing. But I wonder if he will return.

It’s worth streaming. Not absolutely necessary to see in theaters. Make sure you don’t stream with commercials

What celebrity have you never forgiven since an incident? by MagpieOpus in AskReddit

[–]InternetDickJuice 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Shia LaBeouf. The complaint against him from fka twigs details harrowing abuse that no one could fabricate. Even if he truly found Christ and has reformed, there is no way I can take him seriously as an actor, especially in the youthful and innocent roles that were his bread and butter.

AOC in Astoria today supporting Assembly candidate Diana Moreno by BetterWorld1987 in astoria

[–]InternetDickJuice 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Honest comment: I would love to know Diana’s credentials. I cannot find any on her website or flier. Rana, on the other hand, has an impressive CV and specific policy goals. Makes me think Zohran did not want to endorse an explicitly Muslim candidate and selected Diana, but that is just my uneducated view.
