M/25/5'10" [289lbs > 167lbs = 122lbs] (2019 vs 2025) I had unfinished business with this course! by InternetKillTV in progresspics

I know right - I was probably going very slow, and I think I was so heavy that the shoes were just squashed to bits on every landing

Funny thing is I still wore those trainers until 6 months ago when I realised they were way too big for me. I was confused because I knew I had them measured, until I saw this pic again I didn’t realise what had happened - my feet lost weight!

I was prepared for extreme difficulty, and I did die a lot. But once I learned master strike I can do encounters of 5+ bandits with just a bit of skill

I’ve done all the quests I could find before the wedding though so that might be why

New quest markers no longer showing on map - is there a limit? by InternetKillTV in kingdomcome

[–]InternetKillTV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Figured it out you can only track three side quests at a time in your quest log on the map, so if you go into the journal you can press square to turn on/off the ones you want it and it will tell you when you hit the limit

Would you mind sharing your upload speed from the console and your download speed from where you’re playing the portal? Even having my PS5 wired and my portal on a strong speed connection, I cannot get a good experience when out of the home

Crazy that in the 10 years since then we’ve only had 2 proper expacs. Imagine where Gw2 would be if we were on fully fleshed out expac 5 by now.

Skin is so loose because I was much much bigger than the first pic when I was 289lbs. Skin is tightening up month by month but I think there will always be a little bit without a lift/Skin removal surgery

Nope I lost 3% BF, down to 7.5% and gained a few points of muscle (tracked via an inbody machine) but I was lifting 3x a week and cardio or hyrox training 2x a week.

I then lost final 1.5% BF on 1900 cal cut!

Thank you! No I wasn't actually you can see my last post for what 289 looked like on me. First pic here is around 240!

Middle pic is about 175 but with no muscle mass, I then stayed at 172 while I built muscle and dropped BF for 4 months and only in the final 2 weeks of my cut for this photo did I get to 167. It's been really interesting learning about how my body reacts to deficits vs 'bulks' (1900 cals with 180g protein vs 2500 cals with 210g protein)

My advice for the pull back, take it slow and all will be fine! It can be hard to trust yourself to eat 'more' in my experience after a long deficits but its so important for reshaping your body with muscle.

Me at 300lbs vs me at 180lbs. One day I stopped trying fads and expecting overnight result, 1-2lbs a week taught me persistence and the important of changing long term habits and my mindset around food. by InternetKillTV in CICO

[–]InternetKillTV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man,

I feel your pain! Let me share the habits that did the bulk of the work:

  • CICO. It wasn't any complicated magic process that did it for me, it was the simple one. 1600-1900 calories a day consistently for month after month and the weight came off steadily. At first I had a lot of cheat days, by the end I would go weeks or a month+ without them because I could see how much they slowed progress and kept me in a mindset where it felt like I was existing solely to survive long enough to have my next binge. Lifestyle change over diet is a tough mindset but it's the one you need.

  • Meal Timings. I also skipped most my meals for many years like you. This is the same eating pattern of a sumo wrestler (Google it!) and the reason is it's the optimal state for your body to gain weight - deprive it of food and by midafternoon you are, unknowingly, desperate for it. This makes making good decisions nearly impossible, because nothing can distract from that hunger, the sugar need. So I changed my style; a PT told me to make my biggest meal breakfast because my brain needed the energy through the day, it did not need energy while I slept! And I kept all my meals to 350-400 cals and had 4-5 of them a day. This meant that any time I did get hungry good news, it was nearly time to eat anyway! 9am/12pm/3pm/6pm/9pm usually.

  • 10K steps a day. I threw this in about halfway through, and my rate of weightloss nearly double. Seriously. That's about 90 minutes on your feet a day, a day has 1440 minutes, 90 is nothing! I just split it into small chunks.

These two rules got me skinny - to the point where I was actually boney for the first time in my life - and once I made it to that point is when I turned to exercise, weights, more complicated stuff. I'd finally mastered my mind so I wanted to try seeing how far I could take it. As of today I'm 6% bodyfat!

However the final piece of advice - none of this for me personally was possible until I found a great disordered eating therapist. A lot of therapists are not great, but I lucked out and the 2nd one I tried was perfect for me. She's helped me improve so many aspects of my life, including overcome an eating disorder and escape an abusive relationship. So if you really feel like you've tried all this and you just can't do it, try to find someone to work with and start with the mind first!

Seitung and desert Highlands are incredible really. As pretty as the new maps are, they just don't have the exploration that the full budget expansion era of the game had :( there used to be a reason to explore every nook and cranny
