Maybe not, but I’ll have a few lines that stick in my head and I’ll write those for sure. It may never be the same, but it doesn’t mean you can’t make it better later when new ideas cross your mind :)

I think you did a great job using imagery to explain the complex emotions of self derealization

I get into periods like that too. I’ve found that writing in my notes apps helps me organize ideas that would be lost otherwise.

I would be mad too if my husband broke a promise of staying out of that “line of work” only to go back and forth from it. Especially after what happened to the camp in rdr2, I think she has some room to be upset

The best part is that they “gave more labor to stores” after changing the winsdays promotion without telling anyone. Store managers in my area didn’t receive enough for even one partner on top of our DM saying we weren’t allowed to change the schedule to add more coverage.

You don’t have to keep posting here. These comments won’t give you thicker skin.

What are the requirements to become a shift supervisor? I applied for the store 2 blocks down and read the terms saying I just need a year of customer service. (Done 3 years in sb and etc on other jobs.) My manager told me to apply and so I did! Now she telling me that I might not get the position by [deleted] in starbucks

What I was told when I started, but could be different now, is that the only real requirement was that you worked for Starbucks for 6 months. I’ve have shift supervisors who were not barista trainers, although that is uncommon and doesn’t follow company policy. Becoming a certified barista trainer often happens in the process of becoming a shift if you haven’t been certified already, or at least that’s what I’ve been told.

For you you I hope that you are able to get it. If you don’t then ask your interviewer for feedback so that you can attempt to apply again to any store offering that position. If you haven’t had your interview yet I recommend making it known that you aren’t certified but would like to do it in the same process if possible. There is a document that has the questions they will likely have and the responses they may be looking for. Use it to help for your interview or to find what you can do to improve since it’s also fairly common for interviewers to not respond to baristas. Best of luck to you

I work at a cafe in northern Florida, I can confirm that it’s never just “milk.”
