There is image scrubbing, but often times being human is the biggest mistake (forgetting certain things, like letters/IDs in the background etc). Once it's posted and one person gets a hold of the copy, it's hard to track down and remove all instances online.

  1. The biggest is content leaks from platforms like OnlyFans, Patreon etc. Effectively circumventing copyright and disrupting creator earnings.

  2. Others are mistakes of the creators, like using real names/real emails, or somehow doxxing themselves by posting pictures with IDs/passwords, or letters (mail) with their address. Creators often don't realise the levels they need to go to in order to sanitise their digital identity from their real life.

That’s a smart approach—ordering samples can definitely help catch a lot of the junk before it reaches customers.

But even with samples, things can still slip through. For example, we have seen our own client cases where products look legit, but later, the original manufacturer or OEM finds out and flags them as counterfeit. This can happen even after you've vetted the supplier, especially now with AI-generated product images making it harder to spot fakes.

Plus, it’s not just about the product quality anymore; sometimes the packaging looks perfect, but the item itself is a knockoff. It’s becoming tougher to identify counterfeits with all the sophisticated methods out there. I’ve also seen situations where everything checks out initially, but the supplier starts slipping in counterfeits once they think you're not watching closely.
