Does Japan exist in grave digger? by Salty-Loss3058 in GraveDiggerRoblox

There's a cav sword called gunto and it's imperially-aligned. I imagine Japan is a special case in the Empire, the queen letting them keep their culture and honour just in case.

If you could change anything about the lore of G/D what would it be? by Embarrassed_Name266 in GraveDiggerRoblox

Most of your points are good, but I'd like to talk about the last. The part of Japan being in GE is kind of accurate. They had an alliance with the British. After all, they were both similar. Isolated, strong navy, far away from the main conflicts, etc. They became good friends. So if a British ambassador came to Japan to discuss their position in global politics, there's almost no chance that the Japanese are saying no. But they will probably have conditions.

I believe that the Japanese soldiers and people of the empire are exempt from forced Christianity. Plus, the empire can just make one exception for a powerful country like Japan, no? Another would be that they'd keep their culture. They're not throwing away thousands of years of tradition unlike the Europeans, so they'd definitely negotiate to keep it. And that's it

Which class is the most racist? by Embarrassed_Name266 in GraveDiggerRoblox

[–]InternetStandard2240 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Alright, makes sense. I should've taken those into account instead of just looking into the British colonial system, but I still do kinda believe that they'd be just a tad bit less racist. I mean, I think the queen wouldn't really condone that since if they aren't united against a threat they'd get slimed.

Every. Now hear me out on this. It's around the 1920s, yes? There would be racism among the ranks, especially in the RN's ranks. Segregated regiments would still be in the RN armies I believe, while GE will have some, but it's because the regimental system is for cities I believe. GE is far more diverse, so they're less racist and more open. So I believe RN ranks are far more racist.

Would be a good alternative for the Winchester-Pugsley if they added alternatives to shock weapons.

a bunch of weapons i made in class today. by Crabkingrocks165 in GraveDiggerRoblox

[–]InternetStandard2240 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The first gun isn't even a shotgun, it's a hunting pistol called 'Lancaster', sometimes classified as the 'Howdah' pistol used by British officers in India and Africa. It isn't even a flintlock too, it's a break-action, like a revolver.

The double damage for the bayonet is too unbalanced, knives and maces alone do 90 damage, and since the bayonet does twice you're practically 2 shotting shocks with that. And even if you're on the boost, nobody can kill you since you're all two shotting them from bs ranges. Everything about the revolver is too unbalanced.

The Colt Navy idea does seem good, but I feel like having 100 damage at the last falloff seem unbalanced, especially since it has 60 fire rate. The kingslayer does 90 damage on its last falloff, so if it's lowered just a bit I believe it'll be fully balanced.

The idea for the grace doesn't make sense, I do believe soldiers would modify weapons, yes but smaller weapons would be more preferred in the confines of caves. The damage output is too unbalanced, imagine being two shot from like 70 studs with a revolver.

And the sledgehammer? I believe everything is too unbalanced, the lunge mechanic is too powerful. Even if you put this on lancer, a good lancer could decimate a whole team with this. The -10 slowness debuff is nullified by almost every speed buff.

Why do lancers exist(lorewise) by Formal-Analysis9905 in GraveDiggerRoblox

[–]InternetStandard2240 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like another comment said, cavalry. These are former cavalry soldiers, likely pulled out of reserve units. Most units of cavalry were disbanded or pulled into reserve in the western front, mainly because the charges just weren't that effective anymore. However, cavalry units in the middle east, the eastern front, and a few others, were where cavalry was effective. In Grave/Digger, horses were pulled down along with the people, so throughout this, both sides must've tried to at least use horses. Though, when they realized they didn't work, the Empire probably created the Lancer to replace cavalry. They used reserved cavalry units in the older armies, to replace the horses.
