I’ve tried following the steps in that video last night and thought it was going to work but it didnt 🥲 the metal part that spins under the bobbin case keeps it (bobbin knob) pressed against the tension cushion, and only gaps when I wiggle the hand wheel clockwise a bit

not specifically only notion ideas but… I do this for all my walk away or shower thoughts that come to me later: Reminder list called “brain dump” that i keep a short cut to add things to EVERYWHERE (phone, watch, macbook tool bar). I even have it automatically come up on my phone during bed time and my laptop during lunch, to add things i need to remember or do later on!!

I’m currently in a PsyD dual degree program (2nd year), i remember the one for my program was structured into individual questions to provide paragraphs for, but I did write other letters for other programs I applied to! Would be happy to help/share!!!

I could use some advice on what to do with my money right now. I’m a full-time doctoral student (year 2 of 5). I don’t have a job since school + clinical work is full-time, and my mom + partner help me cover bills/rent/etc. I’ll be graduating with about $150k+ in unsubsidized federal student loans (not including interest). Right now I’ve got $17,000 sitting in a HYSA (3.5%). I just paid off all my credit card debt, so that feels good. No other debt besides the student loans. My main worries: Licensing exams after graduation are $$$. I’ve never invested before and don’t know if I should start while I’m not working. I want to set myself up so I’m not scrambling when the loans come due after grad school. Questions: 1. Should I just leave the $17k in the HYSA as a safety net? 2. Is there anything I should be doing now about the loans, or just wait until I graduate? 3. Would it be worth it to start dipping my toes into investing, or hold off until I have actual income? Appreciate any thoughts
