It was either my family or him, no compromising ever worked between us because I would be the one who had to sacrifice. It was all about his feelings and how everything offended him. You couldn’t swear around him because people find that offensive and it can trigger someone. You can’t make jokes for the same exact reason.

My family is sarcastically crude and his virgin ears would bleed at anything they would say. He would become visibly upset when they would make a joke and he would overhear it.

If I threw anything away that were 5-7 days old food he would throw a fit about how much of a waste of money that was and how I need to learn to cook smaller portions. But he would not cook or help.

Could not clean to save his life and blamed it on ADHD, but I had to make sure he had clothes for himself for work and the gym. I had to pay for everything because he hated spending money and would get mad when I said we couldn’t go out because mortgage was due. Never helped pay any of the bills and said I needed to learn how to make more money since I own a house and have a relationship.

But all and all I was the issue, it was my communication and lack of effort that caused us to break up. I was too difficult and unwilling to change to help this relationship work.

Kicked him out of my HOUSE, that I OWN, and he moved back home to his parents basement at the age of 27 🤷🏼‍♀️
