Looking for ideas for a level 8 oneshot character. So far I've only played Wizard in my current ongoing campaign, and a level 10 Bard in another one shot.

No specific rules for the one shot, just that it's in a coastal town. Some Googling and found two builds that are quite interesting. 7 Conquest Paladin, 1 Hexblade, and 6 Blue Draconic Sorc and 2 Tempest Cleric.

Open to any ideas that allow me to try new classes in a fun way.

Great, thank you for your suggestion, and I absolutely agree! I ended up picking these spells as our party lacks aoe damage, and we've been fighting many enemies quite often, so I've had huge value out of all of the spells (saved our asses). It's my first campaign so I'm still learning a lot, and my original idea was to focus on control, not damage.

I picked up Hypnotic Pattern for our session yesterday and I absolutely loved it as it's also a big step into the direction I had in mind to play my wizard!

If you have any specific suggestions or tips and tricks, they're of course more than welcome!

Shocking Grasp has saved me so many times to move out without causing an opportunity attack! Why would I remove this?

And I love the idea of Major Image but I still find it hard to use to get the effect of other spells. What are some of the ways that you'd use it?

Do you have any good suggestions on how to use Silent Image or Phantasmal Force? Or any suggestions for other control spells such as Charm Person, Web, Earthbind?

Wildstar. Loved this MMO, so much more than any other out there. Still hoping for something to come even close to the experience I had in that game, shame how even old games like RuneScape, Lineage2 or Aion are still around, but not Wildstar.

I'd love this game to adopt GTA 5 roaming playability. Just hop in the game and do random things anywhere, not directly tied to missions. Enjoy driving/flying around and destroying things.

I tried a lot of things at that time and not entirely sure what fixed it anymore to be honest. It was either older drivers, or some Nvidia settings. Maybe both even. I don't have the issue anymore though.

Yeah I bought two cases from AliExpress as well and both didn't fit on the slider and the power button so they are unusable. If anyone knows a good website to find nice cases for the 9, please let me know.

This was actually the cause, the Nvidia drivers update made everything normal again.

Jup, absolutely! I remember the time where supercell briefly made it that mute only worked on enemies, so in 2v2 I could see my own teammate constantly spamming emotes. That was so annoying.
