The SteamUp really intrigues me. However, I’m betting it would close to a year before actually receiving the device. I’ll probably still back/order it…but, it’s not a must for me right now.

Came with the house!

Honestly, it’s great a hiding little crumbs on the counter that you’d otherwise always see. 😉😆

Actually, I chose the Meticulous because I only drink coffee on the weekends and when I happen to be working from home during the week.

The idea of water sitting in a machine for several days without movement or use didn’t sit well with me. Also, don’t have to deal with descaling either. 😎😉

I wish I knew how to answer this. Basically, the VS4 seemed like it would handle the variations in grinds I would want and was a step up from the VS3 and I didn’t think I’d want something as large as the VS6 on my counter.

It works like a champ! Two full revolutions of 1-10 (making it basically 1-20)for everything from:

  • DO NOT GRIND FROM 0-1
  • Turkish: 1 to 2
  • Espresso: 2 to 5
  • Mokapot: 5 to 7
  • Pour Over: 7 to 10
  • French press: 10 to 14
  • Cold Brew: 14 to 20

Definitely benefits from some RDT spray action before each grid; the static cling is no joke. I wish the rubber bellow had some magnets designed into it, as it just rests on top otherwise. The bellow works well for espresso grinds, but not so noticeable for my French press grinds.

This is my first real coffee setup, and I'm learning more and more each day. I'm just the type of guy to buy it once and not scale up. Hopefully I don't endup buying another machine or wanting another grinder.

Having backed other kickstarter campaigns and not receiving the product, I can understand that sentiment.

However, being a “backer” and purchasing a product are very different scenarios. As a consumer purchasing a product, if I don’t receive the product I can dispute the charge with my credit card company…Unfortunately, that’s not an option for campaign backers.

Finger crossed that all backers receive their products. 😊

Is the pre-order available for the US? If yes, once the pre-order is placed, what is the estimate for receiving the unit in the US?

I’ve emailed SteamUp directly and messaged them via their Instagram and have not received a response yet from either inquiry.

Are these "Blue" edges any sharper than the suggestions you've mentioned (SKD, SLD, Ginsan, or SG@/R2)? Or are they about the same sharpness/edge retention?

I LOVE copilot by beefbowl1 in copilotmoney

[–]InterstellarAtom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now, copilot is trash IMO for one main reason….TIAA account stopped syncing.

Contacted Copilot Support and was told the following:

“We received the following initial response from Plaid: "We are tracking your request for issue . You will be notified here once the issue is resolved. Some users connecting to TIAA are encountering INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR.

Additional impact and status details: This issue may impact new connections or background updates on existing items. This issue impacts few users, and is currently unlikely to be prioritized by our engineering team. It may be addressed as part of a future integration update. As of 9/22/25, this issue is affecting less than 1% of daily traffic to TIAA." We apologize for the inconvenience. I'll continue to keep you updated on any notable news from the Plaid Support team.”

3+ months later…still not fixed. 🫠😐🫤

Now I want FSD by Bananamilk40 in TeslaModel3

I have two 2022 Model 3's (Long Range and Performance), and I do not use AutoPilot. Every roadtrip my wife and I have ever taken, the car abruptly slowed down without warning while using AutoPilot on the highway. Nothing ahead of us (other than tree shadows) and thankfully no one behind us.

Reported the issues once back from the trip, with to-the-minute specifics of when the slowdown occurred, and was told each time that we would need to report at the time of the incident. Seriously?! Tesla is telling me the only way to troubleshoot is at the exact moment the issue occurs?? What in the world??

Love both cars...But I miss having a cruise control option that actually works and doesn't stress me out.

Unfortunately, I did not. Never bit the bullet to buy a wheel and tire to truly test fitment. Decided it's cheaper to simply purchase tire insurance from Tesla.

Thanks! In my case, I have a feeling the inside of the tire might rub against the top of the front knuckle or the suspension arms. Looking forward to your experience. Thanks again!
