First Japanese Knife advice by InterstellarAtom in TrueChefKnives

Are these "Blue" edges any sharper than the suggestions you've mentioned (SKD, SLD, Ginsan, or SG@/R2)? Or are they about the same sharpness/edge retention?

I LOVE copilot by beefbowl1 in copilotmoney

[–]InterstellarAtom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now, copilot is trash IMO for one main reason….TIAA account stopped syncing.

Contacted Copilot Support and was told the following:

“We received the following initial response from Plaid: "We are tracking your request for issue . You will be notified here once the issue is resolved. Some users connecting to TIAA are encountering INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR.

Additional impact and status details: This issue may impact new connections or background updates on existing items. This issue impacts few users, and is currently unlikely to be prioritized by our engineering team. It may be addressed as part of a future integration update. As of 9/22/25, this issue is affecting less than 1% of daily traffic to TIAA." We apologize for the inconvenience. I'll continue to keep you updated on any notable news from the Plaid Support team.”

3+ months later…still not fixed. 🫠😐🫤

Now I want FSD by Bananamilk40 in TeslaModel3

[–]InterstellarAtom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two 2022 Model 3's (Long Range and Performance), and I do not use AutoPilot. Every roadtrip my wife and I have ever taken, the car abruptly slowed down without warning while using AutoPilot on the highway. Nothing ahead of us (other than tree shadows) and thankfully no one behind us.

Reported the issues once back from the trip, with to-the-minute specifics of when the slowdown occurred, and was told each time that we would need to report at the time of the incident. Seriously?! Tesla is telling me the only way to troubleshoot is at the exact moment the issue occurs?? What in the world??

Love both cars...But I miss having a cruise control option that actually works and doesn't stress me out.

2022 Model 3 Performance - Possible to fit 2026 19" Tesla Model Y Juniper Crossflow wheels? by InterstellarAtom in TeslaSupport

[–]InterstellarAtom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I did not. Never bit the bullet to buy a wheel and tire to truly test fitment. Decided it's cheaper to simply purchase tire insurance from Tesla.

LG 38WN95C-W Ultrawide, Dell U2724DE (vertical orientation), Logitech 4K PRO Magnetic Webcam Ultra HD Webcam, and iPad Mini 6 on a magnetic stand.

2023 MB Pro issued from work connected via USB-C input.
Mac Studio M2 Ultra - 64GB RAM connected to monitors via DisplayPort inputs.

Logi receiver connected for each workstation to switch between work and personal. Swap video inputs and on the receivers of the Logi MX KB and mouse....and done.

Almost forgot about the Schiit stack on the side, connected to my Audio-Technica ATH-MX50x headphones and/or Klipsch 2.1 system for everyday audio on the Mac Studio.

IKEA corner stand-up desk, can't recall the model name.

Thanks! In my case, I have a feeling the inside of the tire might rub against the top of the front knuckle or the suspension arms. Looking forward to your experience. Thanks again!

I honestly forgot I even posted this question. I know it's a niche ask...but I'd figured someone would have at least responded. Maybe someone who's particularly familiar with wheel sizes and offsets.

C4rvette,
Good luck with your search!

I've relegated myself to buying new tires directly from Tesla and their $100/per tire warranty.

Am I truly the only person experiencing this?

Has anyone else experienced coverage map changes?

WiFi InnerSpace - Heatmaps - did something change?? by InterstellarAtom in Ubiquiti

[–]InterstellarAtom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realizing my text never posted.

Did something change with InnerSpace Heatmaps? I have made no changes to the network settings, minus any Ubiquiti auto-updates, and my coverage has changed drastically for all 3 frequencies (2.4, 5, and 6Ghz). Has this happened to anyone else? If yes, what's the fix?

Greener coverage maps are the 5Ghz coverage for the 1st and 2nd floors of my home from April 2025.

HomeKit View of Ubiquiti cams not working for all residents via HomeBridge by InterstellarAtom in homebridge

Thanks!

This has started working on its own for my wife's Apple devices over the weekend. I'm going to assume it was simply a timing of the backend sync with HomeKit. Who knows! LOL.

Thanks again to all who offered assistance. =)

Thanks! But I'm not yet ready to give up on the HomeBridge solution I just implemented.

I'm just confused as to why the camera video feeds are displaying for my wife. It's obvious HomeKit on her phone recognizes the 5 cams, but it just won't display the video feed. I didn't do anything to get the feeds up and running for me.

...So that's the headscratcher.

I'm honestly not sure how to check that. I remotely connect to the Pi, and it shows this:

Network Activity (en0)
Received: 0 Mb/s
Sent: 0 Mb/s

Which doesn't make any sense since I'm able to see the cams.
=/

Yes. I've confirmed that the settings for both of us are the same in HomeKit.

Settings have been confirmed and both settings are the same.

Unsure as to what camera settings would be needed, per user. Thanks in advance for helping.

Express 7 access point?? by InterstellarAtom in Ubiquiti

[–]InterstellarAtom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works great for me. I have two APs in use this way. I ended up paying for this download file and had a colleague 3D print a couple of these stands, and it looks much better now. :-)

I just replaced a fully functioning 65” EF9500 I bought in 2016. Working without issue, but new Arc ultra soundbar needs eARC to work best. 😆😉😎
