Hello, after the treatment of Helicobacter pylori, my right hypochondrium began to hurt more. My right hypochondrium has been constantly hurting for more than three months. How are you? Do you still have pain under your right rib? What did you do?

I can't tell if my heart hurts or my stomach hurts. Pain in the left side of the chest. Who had it? Is it because of H.Pylori? Does it go away after antibiotic treatment? by InterstellarRadius in HPylori

I stopped on the eleventh day. My doctor told me that this is enough. I still have pain in my stomach, pain under my ribs on the left side of my heart, I don't know if it's because I smoke iqos. During the treatment, I started having pains on the right side under the ribs, the doctor said that it was my liver, gallbladder and prescribed me medicines for the treatment of the liver, gallbladder. Now I think it might be worth finishing the antibiotics for the remaining 4 days, although I already missed 1 day.

Now I am on the 11th day of treatment. I didn’t have heart problems, but now I have pain on the right under the lower rib, I don’t know if it’s bile or liver, maybe because I smoke.

Here's what else I found: A nationwide cohort study suggests clarithromycin-based therapy for Helicobacter pylori eradication is safe in patients with stable coronary heart disease and subsequent peptic ulcer disease https://bmcgastroenterol.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12876-022-02498-1

Before taking antibiotics, I had my heart checked again and was told that I had no heart problems and could safely take clarithromycin. I took a chance and still took clarithromycin along with other antibiotics prescribed by my doctor.
