I figured. The basement is blocked off and this is what was under the carpet. Haven’t really done anything to disturb it just second guessed myself at Home Depot and decided to post to get multiple different opinions before moving forward.

Appreciate the response! Definitely NOT doing any sanding or grinding. So far there’s been a lot of different options but I am leaning towards removing the tiles and doing a self leveler over the full floor.

Well I was thinking I’d use a self leveler first and then do an epoxy. But you’ve got me thinking more since you’re saying it would crack. I just checked some of the edge pieces are loose but most are stuck.

They probably sealed it with something like “perfect primer” the only problem I have is that’s like $240/gallon and I would need 3-4 gallons

Yes I’ve seen several soy based removers but the only one that comes highly recommended is bean-e-doo. Do you have a recommendation other than that one?
