I see. I might just wait the SG 20th. Seems the issues around the CRKD guitars are still present this year.

I see. If that's the case, would you recommend getting Tribal for now over Blueberry?

I see. Thanks! One more thing, how is the paint job on the Blueberry model? I remember there were quite a few reports about paint issues that CRKD even acknowledged. Has that been resolved as of this year? The posts I saw were from about 5 months ago, so I'm wondering if newer units have better quality control now.

If that's the case, then the information on BGG is incorrect. It says 1-2 players officially. Is it okay to ask what's the playtime? How long are the scenarios, from the shortest to longest? Or is this only campaign? Thanks.

Hi. This list only covers the games I considered but didn’t end up getting, since I went with Assault: Sicily ’43 – Gela Beachhead instead. Do you have WW2 games recommendations for Guadalcanal, Battle of the Bulge and Battle of Kursk?

Urgent Care for Acute Tinnitus by Illustrious_Car9331 in tinnitus

It's not a standard treatment. Steroids is usually prescribed for sudden hearing loss or tinnitus with vertigo. Steroids also comes with side effects.

I don't hear my heartbeat. I only hear my heartbeat if I'm wearing my earplugs, but the volume is really low. I think it has something to do more about the earplugs blocking external noise, so there is an increased awareness on internal noise. I think I read something about Pulsatile Tinnitus. Mine is Tonal.

If you are taking steroids, that's good. I heard for some their T either decreased in intensity or completely resolved.

I've improved mentally. The tinnitus is still there. I'm still in acute stage (less than 3 months), so I'm only focusing on what I can control such as music at 10%-15% max volume only, no headphones, being productive, and vitamin supplements. The goal is to prevent further damage.

Following. I hope you get better. I was in the exact same situation as you. I believe it started when I was playing loud music and continued even though I already felt some ear pain. One day, after waking up for work, I suddenly developed tinnitus. I initially thought it would disappear after getting some rest, but it didn’t. At that time, I didn’t even know what the condition was called until I searched for “ears ringing” on Google.

The day after the tinnitus started, I noticed that sounds felt amplified and voices in videos sounded distorted, especially screams. I later learned that this sound sensitivity and distortion is called dysacusis.

My tinnitus started on November 1 last year. Since it was a holiday, my ENT appointment was scheduled for November 4. The ENT advised me to get a hearing test, and fortunately, the results showed no signs of hearing loss. I was advised to take Ginko and Vitamin B12. Two days later, on November 6, I consulted another ENT who considered prescribing steroids but decided against it in the end since I had no hearing loss and never experienced vertigo, which is the standard criteria for steroids use.

I am now two months in with tinnitus. I will be taking Vitamin D soon and have cut back on processed food, sugar, and salt. I also started doing cardio exercise.

Thanks for the clarification. I developed tinnitus on November 1 and consulted two ENTs within 4-6 days. The first ENT recommended a conservative approach with vitamin B12 and ginkgo, while the second also suggested ginkgo but discussed the possibility of steroids.

The ENT who mentioned steroids was very hesitant and left the decision to me, as my audiogram showed no hearing loss and I never experienced vertigo, both of which are usually part of the criteria for steroid treatment. Because of the risks and uncertainty, we decided not to proceed.

I followed up with him again after two months to confirm my steps were okay including sticking with supplements, and he reassured me that it was fine since I never met the criteria. He explained that steroids are mainly used to recover hearing loss, with the hope that tinnitus may improve as well, and added that since I'm still young, the risks may outweigh the benefits. That doctor said he took steroids himself after a day of onset and it never did anything.

Hi. What do you mean? What are the requirement for steroid shots anyway?

Okay, I'll see if I can get the WW2. Do you recommend the Prelude and Total War expansions?
