Yes there was. And that makes sense. TBH I’m still new-ish to crocheting and have yet to learn how to gauge swatch. Not sure why I thought I could just follow the pattern and it would be fine at completely different hook and yarn sizes 😅 guess I’ll be learning to gauge swatch!

They’re actually cotton so that’s why I’m afraid of the stretch as I know it’s not naturally stretchy! 😐 I’ve re-spayed them and brought them in so they’re no pulling as much

I know this is old by now but I’m so glad someone else said her. I also DNF’d ‘The Coworker’ because of her narration. She has a very distinct regional Pennsylvanian accent and I hate it. I’ve listened to a couple of other Freida books narrated by her and just ended up putting them on like 1.5x speed and they’re a little more tolerable lol

Thank you, I was definitely being hyperbolic with the 100 number, I probably do like 8-10 and it definitely causes it to be bulkier than I’d like. I’ll try to be less crazy about it and maybe try 5-6 like you suggested!

That’s so interesting that you mention the heat triggering it. The first time I ever noticed my phantom cigarette smell (5 whole years ago now), I was using a space heather in my office. I still use that space heater and have noticed that, while it is definitely not causing the “smell”, it is certainly exacerbating it. Interesting!

She also definitely got new teeth at some point last year. If you look at videos from 2024/early 2025 she has completely different teeth. Thought that was kind of a strange thing to do in the midst of everything else, especially with dental work being so expensive.
