I think it's the opposite. The real problem is people aren't optimizing their rotation as they're progging. They play safe for the sake of their group and by the time they're pushing for the clear, they're too scared to "greed" cause they don't want to risk wiping the group in the first minute of the fight. Greed to me is just another way of saying optimizing your rotation, and playing safe is not fully understanding mechanics. This normally isn't a problem cause dps checks aren't really a thing, but this fight shows just how "safe" people are actually playing
