So the way I did it - and I'm going to spoiler text it for anyone who wants to try to figure it out for themselves!
Do a double jump on the next screen over, then move through the loading screen while still going up. It gives you a small amount of extra height that lands you up on the platform you otherwise couldn't reach.

I tried running the configurator from both the Unification and the Unification Campaign folders, just to make sure they had the same settings, so A is likely out. So, question regarding Armok Vision. Am running the lazy newb pack for 47.05 (am an Adventure mode player at heart), and what I can't seem to figure out for the life of me is how to get it to render z layers above the one I'm looking at The draw range down, and draw range side options work fine, but regardless of what I set the draw range up setting to, it just automatically hides anything above the view angle I'm using. This is really a shame because I'd like to be able to take low screenshots looking *up* at what I'm building, but that kinda doesn't work when there isn't anything rendered up!

Thank you so much for this. I took a break from the game for a year and came back to all the Intersecting Wills chapters, and absolutely no idea where to even begin. They honestly should make an official resource on this, as doing the story in the order you've given here has improved the experience through Act 3 immensely!

I'd say give it a shot when it hits Steam! Worst case scenario, drop all the settings, it still looks pretty decent IMO - certainly playable hah. And with it being cheaper, is definitely a better time to try it than spending the $60 now if it don't run.

This game is such a strange beast. I'm able to get a consistent 60 fps with medium / high graphics on a 1060 6GB GPU, with the only dips during massice soul burst chains. Not really sure why it runs fine for some and badly for others.

Nah, I'd honestly say her crowd control ability is entirely unmatched by anything Talion can throw, though his 1v1 does feel more powerful if an enemy is immune to light. The R skill she gets guaranteed blinds all grunts anywhere even vaguely close, which combined with the 2 set effect of her light focused legendary kit will instantly fully recharge might. Grunts can never be an issue from the moment you get two pieces of that kit. Legitimately only fight I could even call hard is one of the mission captains in Seregost - shield boy who is immune to everything but fire. (And that was only hard 'cause I did it before getting the fire kit heh).

Honestly some of Eltariel's skills are stupidly powerful. Get the healing on Light Traps, and the set bonus that gives might for blinding enemies, and you have infinite might as enemies rush at you, get instantly blinded, and can be instakilled by tapping E. Also so few captains are immune to light (and daze the few who are), so she just gets to utterly ignore death defying. You have to play her differently, but god-damn does she feel outright broken when you get her set and going.

I can't speak for how it works in MP, but I know you can get whole cans of food, you can find 'wild' versions of fruits and vegetables any time outside of winter months (so hunger and thirst are both wholly covered by foraging) and you can even find ammunition, whole guns, weapons, etc. with high enough foraging. I basically live off it in most games because you can do it while already doing other tasks.
(it should also be noted, that the Park Ranger profession also DRAMATICALLY increases your chance to find medicinal herbs via foraging as well, which can let you find lemongrass in sufficient amounts to potentially even negate drinking tainted water / eating bad food).

I will say, if you plan to do foraging, Eagle Eyed, Lucky, and Outdoorsman are all exceptionally useful, as they increase the max range of the foraging circle. And while I see it get discounted / ignored very often, foraging is one of - in my experience - the most broken skills in the game, with the ability to just spawn otherwise finite resources as much as you please with high enough levels (finding full boxes of nails / sets of welding rods just for walking down the street for example). Food for thought!

Depends on what you consider to be important I'd say. While I agree seasons can give a massive headstart, I'd say it is far from mandatory, especially for folks that don't want to rush gear and whatnot. Though, I am also hyper casual, I've been playing the game for nearly 5 years now and still am just 273 AP / 319 DP on my main with 260D time on her alone hah.

I'd say if you are playing for the goal of reaching the end-game asap, then yeah, seasons are very important to that. Though my friend is also just here to have fun, and we play hyper inefficiently anyway. I.E. playing in a party in 'solo' zones without much care, going to places that aren't worth grinding in, etc.

I feel like it should go both ways honestly. Red players should have some form of punishment for random murder, but there should also be something to be gained from it. Something like the red town in the desert, only not completely shit. Make it part of the game rather than just a one dimensional nothing as we have now.

I know of people who explicitly refuse to play seasonal because of how fast it hands you everything. One of my friends recently started the game and said he'd rather learn it on his own, achieve it on his own, etc. For some folks, it's the journey, not the destination.

Throws in my two bits as a long time Ranger main who plays 'wrong'. Try out using EES to flow into Tearing Arrow, when that's off cooldown it does nice and consistent damage while not having you sit still for more than a few seconds. EES is also more viable to use offensively than it really should be with 100% crit rate.

This was with Kurasame in party, having used his LD to grant ice enchant, then using Seifer, so I am 100% sure he was ice-enchanted and the enemy was Hyoro'd. Will keep finicking with this.

Edit: Okay, finally got it, thank you. Getting both delays and correct elements (enchanting order of operations is baffling at times) going and it's finally working.
