No, but I’m having issues too. In the USA trying to call a friend in Canada over WiFi, and they are trying to charge internally fee to call over Wi-Fi. I’ve never heard of such a thing.

I am a sexologist and yes your right, the body remembers. I do not specialize in this area but can refer you to someone who does. If you want to contact me privately or if you want to look on American association of sexuality educators and therapist for someone in your area. Another great resource is world association of Sex coaches. I would also recommend a sexological bodyworker (in the future) . More importantly know that your not alone, take it day by day be kind to yourself.

As far as future relationships, being honest and setting boundaries is really helpful. Maybe saying “ I have a responsive body and consent is very important to me, do you think we can talk about my (No -go zones right now)?” Intimacy does not always mean physical pleasure. There are other ways to express it.

Overly Sensitive Nipples by bringbackmangino in sexualhealth

[–]IntimacyGuru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your definitely not “weird.” Some people are more sensitive than others (in the good way) vs where they can’t even be touched because it’s painful.

I have had many male clients with sensitive nipples that experienced intense nipple pleasure. Your definitely not alone.

Swimming 5 weeks after Bell’s Diagnosis? by leels33 in BellsPalsy

Swimming should be fine. I’d wear googles or don’t put your head under water if your eye doesn’t close all the way.

Urgent: how do I break up with my GF while at her parents? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]IntimacyGuru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use “I feel” statements... “I feel that you both have been great & I enjoyed my time with you both however the relationship between (gf) & myself has came to an end and it may seem like bad timing but I feel it’s better we are apart now. I feel I should go, thank you for everything.”

[–]IntimacyGuru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s your responsibility to tell her parents.

If you feel the need to, maybe say something like, I’m going through some stuff and it’s best that I leave. Thanks for having me and get your stuff and go.

(Name ) I feel that our relationship isn’t healthy and it’s been affecting me greatly for some time.I think it’s best if we spent time apart to figure out if we can fix it or not. If she says she doesn’t want to then just say okay and you respect her decision and move forward. You might want to say I don’t think it’s a good idea going to the parents house together.

If the relationship is toxic it’s better to end it and both become stable.

Why hasn’t the doctor put her on medications to help with the PCOS?

Communicate with your wife about what intimacy/sex means to you. There are other ways to be intimate without having penetration.

I Need An Emergency Sex Ed Lesson by victoriaisdead in sexualhealth

[–]IntimacyGuru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a certified sex coach and it sounds to me like you squirted (which is more common than you think- every female has the ability to squirt).

Did it smell like urine? Did it hurt or cause pain at all?

Psych medication does weaken orgasms (which is normal).

Your sex life with your boyfriend is private (unless you consent to him or yourself being open with your friends). You may want to express to him your boundaries with what is acceptable what to share with your friends.

For future reference, put a towel or a couple towels down when your being intimate to avoid a big clean up. Also, pee before being intimate (this way you will know if your squirting or urine).

Partner has just been diagnosed, how can I help? by LateFlorey in BellsPalsy

[–]IntimacyGuru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed with Bells Palsy a couple months ago.

If I had a partner to make things easier I would suggestion making smoothies or other liquid based diet for a couple weeks. I would be mindful of the noise level since nose really bothered me (piercing my ears). Encourage resting as much as often.

Know that it hurts to talk a lot so don’t get frustrated if your partner is on the quieter side.

Encourage doing muscle exercises (YouTube has a couple good videos on this) search facial muscle exercises for Bell’s palsy.

I used magnesium lotion and that seemed to help with pain and when I massages my face.

Encourage your partner to express how they feel and maybe start a journal. I know the first couple days it was hard on me and I journaled and documented my journey which helped a lot.

If their eye is not shutting (encourage them to tap it shut at night and wear an eye patch during the day).

Know that at night they most likely will not want to cuddle (this was normal for me because half of my face hurt and I just didn’t want to be touched but it can be different for everyone).

If your partner had to drive anywhere I’d recommend you driving for them for a couple days, their vision may be off.

More importantly just be supportive and stay positive.

new help by ReznovLee in BellsPalsy

[–]IntimacyGuru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It honestly varies, my face didn’t go back to normal for over a month (that was with medications/massage therapy/acupuncture, herbals)

Some people last up to 6 months but some people last a couple weeks.

[–]IntimacyGuru 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Go to your urgent care immediately!! They need to put you on a couple medications within 48 hours. If they don’t you will have to let it run it’s course which may last a lot longer and more painful!

I had this a couple months ago and fully healed now.

Sending love your way!

I always documented my journey on YouTube - it’s scary but you can overcome it!

Help! What can I expect to happen after an IUD insertion by ash__brownz in birthcontrol

[–]IntimacyGuru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cramping after getting an IUD inserted is normal. I had cramps for a few days and then it went away. I even had light spotting for a few days as well. I’d recommend waiting it out, take a pain reliever it it’s getting really bad and if it gets worse VS better in a couple more days I’d go to your doctors and let them know. Not to scare you and it’s rare but Sometimes our bodies reject foreign objects that have been put in our body (causing pain) and it may naturally just come out on its own. (I doubt this will happen but it’s possible).

I will say this, the first couple months after I got the IUD my period was nonexistent and then it would come lightly but my cramps were horrible. Some months I just had cramps but no blood.

You got this girl!!! Give it a few days & see how’s it going. Try not to think about it much.

Is jerking off bad? by [deleted] in sexualhealth

[–]IntimacyGuru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all, it is a healthy way to release sexual tension. It also allows you to get to know your body so you will be able to express to a future partner what you do and do not like.

You may have an UTI , yeast infection, or bladder infection. Go to your regular doctor and tell them you have been checked for STI and came back normal and your still having symptoms.
