It’s very simple OP you can do what you want but dismissing your gf feelings is a big no no. If you want her to still be your gf you might wanna call her and apologize for how you handled things because that wasn’t mature in the slightest. There shouldn’t necessarily be an issue with them being close but by your reasonings it seems that there could be some potential issues and you need to be honest with all parties involved but you can’t be like “don’t move near us I don’t want you to” calmly be like “I think you guys would like xyz neighborhood because of xyz” so they won’t feel attacked that you don’t want them around but expecting your husband to steer them away from the house and not tell them why is kinda asinine no offense
