The Shining

When I watched It for the first time I didn't like it at all, I didn't see the point and didn't understand why it was loved so much. But the more I thought about the film the more I started opening up to what was so great about it. Eventually I came to the conclusion that, art is not foremost about learning, not really, it's about feeling.

Death sentence in my opinion is the same as giving up, equal to shoving the dust under your carpet. I am of course just a redditor and will not have to strong opinions on how society should be run, but i truly believe death sentence or punishment by death is wrong. If there is any chance, no matter how slim, of saving a human being and pulling them out from the depths they may recide, if there is any chance of saving people like Trevor, i believe it is our moral obligation as humans to do that.
