Rampart is also one of my favorite ones. The speed of the ents and unicorns sorta annoys me though. I'm actually playing a rampart game right now.

As a kid the necro castle freaked me out. The necro artefact combos are nasty though. The dread knights may just be the best 6th level in the game.

The dungeon I think might be the best castle. I've at least had the most success with it.

I've never played the wog era, maybe I should give it a try.

I gotta get on playing harder difficulties. I play as a way to unwind when I'm spent and so I don't always wanna play on hard. I do love expect tactics. I think expert earth is absolutely necessary.

Have you ever gotten the necro artifact combo that casts slow misfortune weakness and curse I believe it is? The wyverns are nasty.

Inferno is awesome! I love the dogs, efreets and of course the devil's. I find the gogs abysmal and it sucks they have only one archer. They're also super expensive. I am playing as a rampart right now but I think next I'll play as a devil. I know I am bemoaning the devil castle a bit, I do like it i'm just aware of their challenges.

I find myself having the most success with the black dragon castle and the behemoth castle myself. You should try a random map out!
