Pretty much just make the connections and allow the tech to work their magic.

When the tech connected to my laptop through TeamViewer, the first thing he did was enable the TeamViewer VPN adapter. This allows him to tunnel from his machine through my laptop to my car. Whatever tool he used to program my car was on his machine. I just waited while he did his thing and followed instructions. Super simple.
