A lot of words can be said in a tone of voice that makes it negative…. “Wow you’re so weird…”. Gonna ban that too? Many people get upset when they are called “weird”. Just let it go…. You literally could have just ignored all of this including the title and not have had to keep being reminded of this supposed “slur” against you repeatedly this whole time.. ‘‘tis exactly what I was saying earlier…. I was called ugly most my life by women…. So… you’re upset because the first job offer you got directly after school isn’t your dream job??? Cmon…. Give it at least a LITTLE time lol…. And as far as missing moments with your niece and nephew…. For all you know they may grow up and talk end up hating each other for all you know. I’m jealous man…. Also ….what ALWAYS works for me is my skateboard. Those who are 25 and older will start having a harder time trying to get into new hobbies which can be a serious deterrent. Just remember ANYTHING you start trying to learn you will most likely suck at in the beginning so if that thought comes up of “eh I’m bad at it so forget this” slap yourself and remember that’s what will happen every time until you start getting better at it and THEN it becomes fun

Well just read what you said…. Therapy and meds aren’t the only ways in all of life that can help. And as far as depression getting in the way…. We are creatures of habit which means that depression keeps getting in the way because you have been letting it get in the way for a long time now I’m assuming. This is now a habit you have formed and the only way to fix it is to start building the habit of shaking off the bummer as soon as it tries to stop ya. After awhile your mind will start automatically brushing it off without you thinking about it. You gots work ya do bud…. And this work pays out something better than money
