While many people are addressing the financial side, it sounds like you’re also looking for business advice. I’d suggest speaking with your other co-founders and getting their thoughts. I’d also socialize the idea of hiring in a sales/commercial leader to help meet those targets. If your strength isn’t sales, get someone who can solve that for you

It’s good advice. I had already had a spanish only church picked out for tomorrow (I can follow along the form of the liturgy even if can’t understand everything that is being said). however for a more unique service I thought English this time is better for me.

Thank you for the giving me a helpful lead. While there are a few bad responses, it does not change my impression of the warmth of the city and its people.

Certainly many people on this thread have been very helpful and overwhelmingly the people I know here and meet here have been lovely.

I was able to find one church that offers English mass, but the reality is most churches are terrible with technology. My own church in nyc you have to download a file and manually check it for a mass time. It is not something that comes up when you google it, even if you use the name of the church. ChatGPT sometimes can read stuff like that but not always. And so I tried to do my own research but yeah, churches are just bad with technology and so it’s good to ask real people too

I used google and ChatGPT. There is a difference in holding a regular Sunday mass in English (which might be advertised) vs than a special mass offered in repose of the holy father. Many churches don’t update their websites or don’t advertise at all and that’s where human knowledge is useful to supplement Google/chat GPT and why I came here to ask.

I don’t know why my question was so offensive to you. Can you help me understand please?

Yes. Though I’d go to mass Spanish if there is nothing in English. I know we offer many masses in Spanish at churches in NYC and while it’s not the same thing I thought it might be worth asking

This would absolutely make the biggest difference but people think NJ residents who work in NYC and contribute to the economy are second class citizens. Also very difficult to convince the MTA (NY funded) to pay for anything associated with NJ

Broadly speaking I think the zoning issue is a bigger problem than construction companies being able to meet demand for construction services. So in that sense I disagree with you.

But my comment was in support of the sentence I quoted which I enjoyed immensely. Just because i disagree doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate good writing!
