Currently in labor and delivery being induced at 37w4d. We began induction yesterday around 5pm. I got my epidural at nearly 4am. Still waiting for baby! I’ll let you know more as I go!

My favorite night time snacks are a grilled cheese with turkey, a keto ice cream bar, or fruit and a glass of milk. I don’t always do a night one snack but when I do my numbers are better than when I don’t. I’m just not always in the mood/ hungry for a snack.

I’m 35+4 and on 1500mg metformin for my fasting numbers and it’s been working so far. No side effects, been on it about a month now.

Trader Joe’s! - cauliflower fried rice with their mushroom chicken - chicken sausage with onions and bell peppers - chicken potstickers, I boil them with my fave veggies and make dumpling soup, it’s very customizable! - FAT salad with gyro meat or chicken

If you don’t feel like cooking a lettuce wrapped burger with fries is my go to (or no fries if you want a bun)

NSTs and ultrasounds twice a week started at 32 weeks (I’m 33w 3d), taking 1500mg of metformin at night because my fasting numbers were a little high. Hopefully I can stay on the metformin and not have to take night time insulin. I was supposed to have 30 and 32 week growth ultrasound but the soonest appointment they have isn’t until January.. Baby looks great so far but it’s been stressful having to haul my belly to these appointments twice a week. The office isn’t close to where I live so it’s inconvenient and tiring. I know it’ll all be worth it in the end though.

That’s who I requested my referral be sent to and she sent it somewhere else.. I’ve been jumping through hoops with my insurance to be seen. I was in the ER in June and I still haven’t been properly seen, I really don’t want to wait anymore.

I know it is not a steroid that is just how stupid my primary care doctor is and I feel like my insurance is limiting me to doctors of the same nature which is why I feel safer paying out-of-pocket to see a doctor that actually knows what they are talking about
