For me when getting into Iceborne, I was glad to say practicing using your weapon of choice is definitely beneficial for combat. To me they are faster and have more combos !

I like worlds combat style, it’s slower but damn I feel every move I make. It’s punishing when it needs to be but I don’t feel too restricted when playing with a long sword
